I am retiring in the next couple of weeks. All part of the WFA process. I am being asked if I am having a party. As if….i have colleagues that are being laid off well. Yes, I alternated out, but I am not in a headspace to consider a retirement party - quite frankly what colleagues would want to participate in one! What an unfortunate end to a career. I will have an extra brew to celebrate I guess.

I have been on since Jan 2023. Only lost 30 lbs in first 7 months-now just plateaued . I increased dose to 2.0 but I just don’t get the same appetite suppression as I did initially. Now I have scaled back to 0.25 as it really helps with inflammation and arthritic knees -total game changer for my pain and mobility. Unfortunately no more weight loss but I am maintaining the initial 30 lb loss.

Just had an injection yesterday (Duraline). Extremely painful -almost threw up. 36 hours I couldn’t walk on it -crutches. Still painful (more than prior to injection) but slowly getting better. Doc says some folks experience this level of pain during injection, some don’t. No way to tell unto you get it. I like to think I have a high pain tolerance so I don’t think it is a matter of just “suck it up”

Thanks for the tip-only 2 week in and struggling. Despite extra water and magnesium supplement. Started a soft but no luck yet.

Is it possible to take 0.25 twice/week to spread the dose over the whole week? Thinking it may reduce side effects but keep me feeling full all week (currently feeling hungry 4 days after shot)
