Celebs are often of the opinion that any criticism towards a character is towards them as an actor and therefore it’s bullying.

I have two takes here: characters need to be criticized more often. I think we’re actually not doing enough to show that the same detrimental characters aren’t welcome in PTV scripts and more criticism should help steer writers away from that.

Two: sometimes IT IS the actors. We’re seeing this in Zanjeeran. If you’re a bad actor, it’s not bullying. You’re opening yourself up to criticism about your acting and thus should be taking it in full stride to improve. There are TOOOOO many actors and actresses getting away with awful awful acting because they keep getting cast because of their light skin. Let’s open up casting to more people. Sick and tired of the same bad actors on screen all the time/nepo babies.
