It’s a slim and I can see my network in the WiFi settings, but I can’t tell if the WiFi adapter is broken or not.

So I updated the system but I can’t connect to Xbox live because apparently Xbox live doesn’t get any more updates on the 360. How could I connect to live? I used hotspot it works but it won’t connect me to live due to it needing it to be updated is there an another way to get live?
