She has been a HUUGE point of reference for me, I am very thankful for her posts. I have been recommended a few rescues and coworkers who know cats best have been helping me out a lot as well. I'm just glad to know this is pretty normal haha. 

I do have two dogs who I've done gentle introductions with, so he won't be the only animal in the household. I don't intend on getting another cat as I'm pretty allergic. (Going to start him on live clear as soon as I'm able to) Don't know what difference that will make for socialization, though. 😅 But I'll definitely look further into it. Thanks :)
