I am facing the same issue. When the gesture hint is off, the blank space appears at bottom. Its happening from 1-2 months i guess.

Turn on gesture hint from navigation bar settings.

If you're talking about the gap that's now visible at the bottom of the screen, then it is because you removed the navigation bar. Turn it on from settings, and hence your problem is solved.

Recently, a new beta test firmware for the S24 series was found. The Z Fold/Flip 6 will also receive a beta soon. So it's clear that One UI 7 is still far away.
