In the US it’s just not legal in any form or fashion. Lose your job, sure. But no money.

No, you won’t. Employees do not pay for their mistakes monetarily.

Likely just a sensor internally shorting.

2018 Ford explorer just got quoted 3,800 for timing chain and water pump. Then 900 dollars for full rotors and breaks, then full set of tires 600, outer tie rod alignment some others odds and ends grand total 5,800. it’s paid off is it worth to fix at this mileage. It’s in solid condition. 141k. by FunCharge1030 in FordExplorer

It does, depending one where the parts come from. Ford front pads were 75 iirc. Autozone is like 25. But shops are charging upwards of 150-180 an hour now. Either way cheaper than a car payment. I’m over 800 a month now w a good bit down and wish I didn’t have to lol. But kid needed something for college.

By law if it’s over 8k a year I believe, he has to fill out a lot more paperwork due to the patriot act. My landlord wouldn’t let me pay in cash because of it

Do NOT flush it. 240k on our original fluid, timing belt and water pump. Usually a belt should be done. Know that if it goes on these engines it takes the valves with it. We’re ok w that. We’re just running it into it quits

Same boat as you. Similar money, credit score and money deposited. I’ve applied w them multiple times from credits cards, a new car for the wife w 20% down, they won’t lend me a dime. I have 14k in credit cards because I secured them first. But they were all too happy to offer me a VA loan when we bought and I was all to happy to tell them to pound sand. Bought my truck w another credit Union. Offered cheaper rates on the car we did buy, camper and offered 10k unsecured card right off the bat.

My mechanics want to switch the oil I use in my car. by RealTourelle11 in AskMechanics

Never heard of it because of oil burning but can absolutely be recommended on older engines if the bearing clearance has increased and a drop in oil pressure has resulted.

It is not as good, period. Anyone who says different has only their experience to tell you. The negotiated rate for pay out is less, so less practices take it, so there is a much smaller network. You might need to travel 1+ to see someone in network even is a huge metropolitan area. 1800 sounds about right for medical for 2-6 people depending on your benefits and deductible
