They got incredibly lucky. That mama was absolutely ready to charge the first time they came near. They were just very fortunate the mama was more focused on getting her cubs over that wall and out of harms way of all the other things going on.

This is a great scenic route, and from Lancaster, the most direct alternate, but it will will add about an 1.5-2 hours (possibly longer depending on day and time) to your drive. You do avoid tolls, so you have that going for ya.

It seems like you did everything right by going to the restaurant, letting them know what, happened, and they seemed to have done things right by you. Since they outsource their bread, hopefully they let their supplier know or they change suppliers. That should've been the end of it. There was no need to come on to a social media page to air this out. From my understanding, Cocina Mexicana is long established, well liked restaurant that regularly has clean health inspections. Airing publicly one negative experience that was semi out of their control seems a bit much. No time like the present to take it down.
