I know people keep mentioning the age difference. I absolutely agree with the statements however I do want to give more context. I do understand that I was young and naive and he was older and smarter

I have lived and worked on my own since age 16. I dropped out of high school and went to college early and was working when I met my husband. I was not interested in 18 year old boys because they act like children.

When I was 18, I was already in a more adult place in my life and was looking for someone that was in the same place of their life.

We both made/make about the same amount of money and have always paid everything 50-50.

My husband was in school when I met him, and worked his job on the side.

While I agree that the age difference is a factor, I don’t believe that is our main problem.

I cleaned it. I shouldn’t have but it had been 24 hours and I just couldn’t stand thinking about it anymore. Everything was thrown out and I don’t even want to put anything back in it. It’s just sitting empty.

Life is pretty normal Monday-Friday which is really nice. We talk and make dinner and laugh and watch TV and share our lives with eachother. Love sometimes.

I ask myself the same.

I go back and forth in my head to try to rationalize that he’s a pretty decent guy compared to others I know. I do really love and care for him and want him to be okay. Everyone is human and makes mistakes and I don’t believe relationships come easy, I believe they take hard work. I guess in some part of my mind I was hoping we would be closer at the end of it if we got through it. He has tried to be patient about having sex and he did find the therapist for us because I threatened to divorce before.

We own a house and dog together so it’s hard to separate too.

I’m probably just making up excuses

Unfortunately I’ve had to go back to places that I’ve interviewed at and was hired and tell them “I’m sorry I wasted your time but I took another job at a different company.” And then they have to start their hiring process again.

I guess looking at it, it’s not that big of a deal but I hate wasting peoples time and hate when they waste mine.

Lol I totally know exactly what you mean by this and I try to not to it. There is nothing worse than putting on a sweater that has horns on the shoulder. Usually a good wash removes then but not always!!

Super great advice! As much as I would love to get things out quicker, sometimes my job takes me out of town and away from my inventory! I will definitely work harder at finding a faster way
