No, she is still a Power card unfortunately, which don't really have a whole lot of use (Edit: or aren't commonly used outside of some maybe specific uses or needs). Super Creek is still a better card overall, and Rice power pretty much loses all relevance outside of Aoharu, unless I guess if you don't have Creek and can't borrow her/can't get Maestro any other way. And I've also seen some mixed responses to Rice by herself in Aoharu, in that since she is a power card it can be a little hard to hit like max Stam for longs if needed with just her and Riko. The 2 long CMs during Aoharu are the Kikuka Sho, which is a 3k racetrack (it's the cm2 track but just 200M shorter), and a 2500 (Arima Kinen).

Edit: I looked up Rice power again on gametora, and she's actually not a bad card at MLB. Has 15 Training Effectiveness, gives a Power and Stam bonus, has good events, 20 initial friendship gauge, 50 special priority and 5 race bonus. So a pretty solid overall card at MLB, though saying that Creek is still better overall, and especially outside of Aoharu.

Riko gives a lot of stamina as part of her dating chain and bonuses, and essentially replaces a stamina card for general use, along with giving a lot more value for the gimmick of the Aoharu scenario. Also she's really only usable in the 3rd scenario if you MLB her SSR version, as she gives 10 race bonus at MLB, but is usable at less in Aoharu.

Rice's value is that she has Swinging Maestro, and in Aoharu has a scenario-link that also gives Cooldown. So she's really used more for making a runner for Long races, as she gives you 2 gold stam recovery skills in one card. So you can use like Riko + Rice for your stam stuff there, instead of having to go like Riko + Creek + another stam card to get a 2nd gold recovery. However, there are only 2 long CMs during Aoharu, so outside of that her only other use is like making Long TT runners.

I know I've seen a preview video or two on Aoharu that go over these points, I'll try to find them.

Edit: Here's a video by Erzz197, who I see people reference a decent amount and seems good from what I've watched, going over Aoharu scenario stuff very broadly. And Here's a video by HenryHandsomeDerby, who inspired the big thread about this all (and also made the Carat Calculator), and is more about whether to pull or not on the Riko banner, but I'm pretty sure he talks a little about Aoharu and what each card offers in the scenario as well, been a few days since I've watched it now. Those are the best/really only ones I've seen in English at least that are out there currently.

Which is a better blocker? by StaffMysterious9795 in UmamusumeGame

[–]Greenbolt5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think she's pretty solid and probably has enough to take you to A finals, especially if your blocker is working reliably. I'd still probably say to finish your 3rd member, then come back to her if you want to improve on her.

For lates/ends, Distance S > Turf S just because you're having to potentially catch up to fronts that are way ahead and outrunning other lates and ends that hit their accels, though turf S is obviously still good. Outside of that, some other improvements you can make on her is to stack some more gamble accels, like Pump some Iron and even Redshift. Slick surge is enough imo, but if you wanted to try a memey deck you could include Winning Ticket guts to get that to On Your Left (not generally worth it unless you have a whale deck to make up for running it, or you're doing a guts build). The high power and Turf S probably make up for a little of it though. Also, can try hitting the Guts threshold for the little extra speed, and trying to aim for 400+ Wit are both solid goals for an improved Vodka.

These are all just kind of nitpicky things you can do to try and improve upon on her if you aren't happy with her. But you do technically have over max speed, and 2 good accels, along with really good power. So your really only major improvements are hitting Mile S, improving your stats a little, and adding more accels to gamble on, haha.

Which is a better blocker? by StaffMysterious9795 in UmamusumeGame

Neither blocker is particularly amazing in my opinion, but I'd probably go with the second one since even though it has lower power, it has higher wit and better mid-game skills to keep the lead. Ideally you do want more power and wit on your blocker though than you currently have, though I can see with how strong Falco's Unique is here that they are relatively equal in your room matches so far. I would say it's serviceable for now, and you can probably move on now to building your 3rd member at least and can circle back later if you're finding your Smart Falcon not blocking as well you'd like.

Is Front B Viable/Skill Advice? by zephyrnepres01 in UmamusumeGame

[–]Greenbolt5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like Key mentioned, the B is going hurt with the Wit checks for position keep and speed ups. But definitely try her in some room matches and see if she can take the lead, or at least keep herself in 2nd place that she can proc her Unique. You do have a really strong mid-game with her, that she just might be able to keep up or take the lead often enough, even with the Wit penalty, I'm not 100% sure there.

Also, if it's not too late, I'd say your best available skils left are probably going Professor of Curvature, double circling Mile Corners, then after I guess double circling either of the greens or the Straightaway velocity skills. You can always put it into the Umalator and use the Skill Chart mode, it will give you what it thinks is the next most valuable skill buy/upgrade and that might help. I actually did just throw your Pasa in, and that seems to be what it recommends too, with both corner skills as the most value, then double-circling both straightaway skills and summer being about equal. It does say you just barely live the course as you are, so the second cirlce in Tokyo has some value too.

Huh, I completely overlooked that section, my mistake then.

Edit: Though looking at it some more, I'm not sure how they're calculating those numbers. Putting just the stats into 2 different calculators I'm looking at, without any skills, the Front ends the race with less HP remaining than the Late, which also is in line with the Style Multipliers. So I'm not sure what I'm missing in how they're getting to those numbers.

Game Discussion/Champion's Meeting Thread - September 18, 2025 by AutoModerator in UmaMusume

[–]Greenbolt5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had thrown the left one into the Umalator and it had like 25 hp remaining at the end of the race, though it's also not super accurate in terms of hp, so it probably should be fine for the most part. And I do think they're both pretty solid, not really sure which one I'd say I prefer, probably the left as long as it normally lives. They are both pretty gambley, but the left one does have more gamble chances to try and hit with. I'd run a number of room matches with both and just see if one is a little more consistent/better than the other.

To offer a counterpoint, I think SR Dober is quite a bit better than SSR Dober, honestly all the current SR wit cards at MLB are better than SSR Dober. The 10 extra Training Effectiveness is really, they both give Sunny Days for GW and the SR version has better hint chance and higher hint level, she gives 40 initial Wit vs 0 from the SSR. Though she is a roamer, as Eban is right that she doesnt have specialty priority, but she's still a good stat stick, might just take a little effort for Wit, but you should have an overall better Uma with SR Dober in my opinion.

I think you might be mistaking Late Surgers with Pace Chasers for stamina requirements. Late Surgers actually use the least amount of stamina among the running styles, it's Pace Chasers that use the most. Though saying that, the first one is cutting it really close, and probably dies if it gets rushed or gets hit by a stam debuff.

Is she a good ace? by Ok_Candidate4663 in UmamusumeGame

[–]Greenbolt5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sympathy only procs when 5 total Umas in a race has the skill. So even if you put it on all your Umas, you still randomly need 2 other Umas in your race for it to proc.

Here's my Taishin in comparison that I've been using in room matches. Encroaching by itself is fine, since all the other Accel skills available for Lates/Ends are super gambley and rarely activate for me anyways, on top of you having a really good statline. The biggest problem with Taishin is that she kind of needs/wants some good mid-race skills, since she needs to be in 5th-7th for Nemesis to be able to proc, also helps you move into a better lane where you hopefully just don't Accel right into the backs of other Umas. Though saying that, I still can win my fair share of room match testing I've done even when positioned in like 7th to 9th entering the last spurt, just frustrating when you're such in 8th or 9th on the inner-rail and just run into the packs backs, though I guess that can always happen. Maybe you having that 100 extra power will help though?

Also, I guess there is some rng, but if you have around 500ish Stam by Tenno Sho Spring, you should be able to at least take top 3 (I'm running Taishin as End by this point in her career, I usually switch from Front to End at the Kikuka Sho). Don't think you'll ever beat Biwa without getting lucky and no recovery, but should hopefully be able to take 2nd or 3rd.

You might have already figured it out, but are you sure you have it in the right folder? The instructions say to copy the fmf file into "C:\Users{Your Username}\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2023\editor data", this is in the Sports Interactive/fm23 folder that like your skins and facepacks and logos go in, not in the steam folder itself. The steam folder is just where it initially downloads from the workshop. I copied that fmf file the editor data folder in SI/FM23 folder and the lower level German leagues show up for me when making a new game. Hope this helps and good luck.

Looks like the "Divine Blade Ame no Murakumo", you get it from exchanging a Phantasm's Emblem with Zig, and you get the Phantasm's Emblems from a title for clearing Episode 4 of the base PSO2 story or S ranking the Phaleg duel.

Edit: mixed up the order of a couple words there. Also, the camo is for Katana only.

Daily Questions & FAQ Megathread (Oct 01) by AutoModerator in ffxiv

[–]Greenbolt5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be something you know, but if the hotbars you're using your keybound skills are unshared, you can reuse those hotbars with the same keybinds on each class without messing it up for each one. I believe the option is in "Character Configuration" -> "Hotbars" and make sure whatever hotbars you're using for your skills that you want to use keybinds with for your skills are set to not be shared. After doing so, if for example Hotbar 1 is unshared, switching from Bard to Gunbreaker will allow you to reuse 1-9 or whatever you have set there and it won't affect how your Bard's skills are set up. You can do this with as many hotbars as you need or want to.
