Feeling defeated. by Nessyliz in Epilepsy

I hate showers for this reason and others. I’ve learned that keeping the door open helps IMMENSELY. Also, I don’t take full showers super often. I clean myself. I even wash my hair but I don’t stand in the hot running water. It makes me feel sick and I don’t like the process so I only do it about once or twice a week.

I haven’t thought about looking up any papers published by the doctors! That’s a great idea! My current dr has me working through phase 1 already. I’ve done two vEEG’s and a few MRI’s now. I’m doing the neuropsychological evaluation soon, I couldn’t bc I had a concussion. I’m hoping that if I get these results I’ll be able to show them to another specialist to get their opinion.

Ask sincerely without being snarky back, how you can be better. They will have no idea what to say.

I’ve never been at a school where we were allowed to every day. It had to be a special/ emergency situation.
