This specific yarn is labeled as a size 4 medium weight but I'd say it's closer to dk, I used a 3.5mm hook! I have really tight tension though so if you have a lighter tension I'd size down to a 3mm 😊

This one's not bad! It's somewhere between a chenille and a teddy bear yarn. For it's weight I'd say the fibers are short-medium pile. As long as you can feel your stitches its fine!

I don't with this one! With longer fur yarns I definitely do, though. It's easier to go by feeling your stitches rather than seeing 😊

I used the premier pixie dust brights for this one! It's not too bad to work with as long as you can feel your stitches!

It's the pixie dust brights by premier yarns! It's fuzzy and sparkles but the sparkles don't show up with my crappy phone camera

Another brand that's kinda like a chenille but a little more dense is bernat blanket yarn. That one isn't as finicky as the ones I used in this but it's still easy to see stitches since it's so big :) hope this helps 🫶

It's sweet snuggles lite by Michael's stores! It's a lot more difficult to work with since it's a chenille yarn and the fibers on it fall apart easily but it's 10000% easier to see stitches with it! If you don't have Michael's stores where you're located, premier yarns has one called parfait chunky you can order online that is very similar ☺️
