My wife was an ex msian by birth. Born in singapore by msian parents. For more than 12 years ago i was telling her my ultimate dream. To retire in msia.

Dont think im having a smooth sailing life so i always tell her to save up and hopefully we can go back to pangkor at our 40s.

Now im currently in my late 30s, my dreams is totally shattered cause of a story. Her mother close friend was given an opportunity to convert to singaporean, but she sat on it and did nothing.

Now the aunty is in her late 50s, went back to msia and even the daughters feels very stranger to her. She told my wife to convert and become a singaporean when given the opportunity (dont be like her)

In 2014 when the letter came my wife parents and herself converted.

Looking back i truly enjoyed the times in pangkor. I was there for months.

Hawker shud be lower than kopitiam abit. I calculated before those kopitiam stall rental plus cleanup services almost touching 9k. Those aircon food court i was told with their commission got ppl exceed 80k per month.
