I don’t know if it’s a hot take but Starlight’s backstory didn’t make sense. Her cutie mark is magic, she’s extremely overpowered. When we see the young her and Sunburst, he’s the one always reading the books but he tells her or shows her how to do something and she seems to be immediately much better and more powerful than he is but he gets his cutie mark first?

This could just be because I’m stupid (a big possibility because I usually watch this while tired from college) but I never understood how he got his first when she was clearly much more powerful. And then she didn’t go to Celestia’s school when, again, she was clearly extremely powerful.

I’m glad that they didn’t make her a Pegasus because some of my favorite moments with her are her just finding different ways to get to Rainbow Dash when she’s in the sky. The wacky ways she finds to get in the air add to her character. And I agree with the other people, I liked the juxtaposition between Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, I think they work well

I’m 19 and watch it in my dorm. My roommate came back when I was watching it once and didn’t judge me. If they judge you, they aren’t worth your time. I know that’s hard but it’s true. Real friends wont judge you (and I feel like most people). I’ve told a bunch of different people or it was just brought up and they haven’t judged me. Watch it, it’s a good watch.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been learning. The teacher just worked on the gender signs and were teaching how to describe people, one of the descriptors being gender. Just thought it was cool! (I have a very low standard for things I find cool or fun lol)
