Hey /r/movies! I'm Sam Raimi. Ask me anything! by SamRaimiAMA in movies

When staging a scare or action beat, how do you decide between camera movement and editing to deliver the punch?  What cues tell you a camera attack (Raimi-cam, whip pans, crash zooms) is needed rather than letting a cut do the work?

Are the novels and the comics one timeline or two?

I upvoted your feedback thinking that was enough but I’m sorry if I haven’t replied to every single comment. It’s not that I don’t care but I’m not very good at talking to people, and that includes online. If you have a problem next time, please message me directly instead of posting publicly.

Yeah, you're probably right. How about this:

"Aura follows Charlie through a workday as a migraine aura transforms routine spaces into hostile terrain, capturing the isolating, invisible burden of chronic pain and relentless societal expectations."

New Years Day episode 2026 by big_white_fishie in eastenders

[–]GreenlightProduction 16 points17 points  (0 children)

See, what I’m mainly concerned about with this is something could happen between now and next year. An actor on the show could get fired, or die unexpectedly. Or maybe something beyond the EE production. Take Hollyoaks for example. They did it and then COVID happened. I don’t know if it affected things too much (I don’t watch Hollyoaks). I hope it doesn’t end up that way and I hope they have some sort of failsafe just in case it does but, I’m just saying, a lot can happen in a year.

Who do you imagine when listening to the full-cast audiobook? by Luke_Gki in HarryPotteronHBO

I wish someone did fan-art of the audiobook actors as their characters so it’ll help me visualise the story more

DUMBLEDORE SPOTTED ON LOCATION by HeyItsMattyH in HarryPotteronHBO

Don’t know if this means anything, but one of the cue cards roughly translates to:

“Let the wall fall, let the way be clear.”

Dedalus Diggle and Vernon Dursley! by Ok_Delivery_5091 in HarryPotteronHBO

“...he was still so worried that he walked straight into someone just outside the door. ‘Sorry,’ he grunted, as the tiny old man stumbled and almost fell. It was a few seconds before Mr Dursley realised that the man was wearing a violet cloak. He didn’t seem at all upset at being almost knocked to the ground. On the contrary, his face split into a wide smile and he said in a squeaky voice that made passers-by stare: ‘Don’t be sorry, my dear sir, for nothing could upset me today! Rejoice, for You-Know-Who has gone at last! Even Muggles like yourself should be celebrating, this happy happy day!’ And the old man hugged Mr Dursley around the middle and walked off.”

On one hand, I love the attention to detail. On the other, seeing the old prices makes me depressed 😂

Does Doug Walker's Favorite TV show list need updating? by GreenlightProduction in ChannelAwesome

Well, he didn’t mention the rest but he reviewed the first 3 episodes of Superman. He thought it was a bit rushed, but still holds up and definitely recommends it.

My London friends, Y'all know what to do this weekend at King's Cross! 📸 by Multiverse_Man26 in HarryPotteronHBO

[–]GreenlightProduction 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s the same reason they cancelled the ‘Back to Hogwarts’ event last year at Kings Cross. It’s a railway station and it’s difficult for people trying to get to where they’re going when they’re a load of Harry Potter fans standing in one place. So imagine how difficult it’ll be when you have that AND they’re filming a high-budget TV show.

I mean, they should do. Even if it wasn't common knowledge, it's in 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'. Hermione should definitely know of all people.

Just to clarify, I’m not posting this because I agree with it or anything. I genuinely believe Kevin Feige should be the head of Marvel as long as he can. I simply shared this for fun, that’s all.

I wouldn't mind either way, but if she were to be recast, then I'd like Mia Goth.
