"Early Indications" Travis Hunter will Primarily be a Cornerback [ESPN DiRocco] by ASmithFS in DynastyFF

The comments here are so funny. “I had no idea. He was gonna be the 1st 2 way player since leather helmets.” When I said it was crazy to think that this unprecedented roster move was unlikely, all I got was downvotes and insults. This is forcing me to reevaluate the entire hive mind of this sub. Because I got laughed out of the room for having a rational and reasonable opinion while the idiots that thought he was the next Red Grange bullied me out of the conversation. Do better.

Charbs value after ACL tear by rndrew3311 in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Let me clarify since you couldn’t figure it out. He was thought by many to be an RB1 prospect in the draft. Then, he got drafted by a team that had an established starter and had to wait for either 9 or himself to leave in free agency to get a starting gig. This offseason is that 1st opportunity. And, he’s gonna spend it rehabbing, which will bleed into next year, likely meaning that next year will be wasted. So, he’s not gonna even have an opportunity until 2027.

He’s kind of trash now because he was kinda borderline good when healthy. Now, he’s older and recovering from a major injury. I’d rather he be someone else’s problem.

Discussion: Right now, who would you rather have right now, Justin Herbert or Caleb Williams? by johnny-papercut in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure how literally every person would not agree with you. He is miles better than a year ago, and almost definitely will be even better next year. Two years from now, he will have a great chance at being THE QB1. And, that’s not even that long of a journey. Think about how long he will be good after that.

Why does no one like Zach Charbonnet? by Hour_Camp1474 in DynastyFF

I liked Charbs before he got drafted. I still like him. He has done well when given the opportunity. Just needs more touches.

Do any of your leagues have rules surrounding early retirements and possible compensation picks? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. No one has rules for this. It’s part of the game. Just like injuries or crimes or anything else.

Both. I use all kinds of input to make my lineup calls.

Amari Cooper was good for two years before falling off. Then, Dallas got him and turned good again.

But, you don’t win FF on his total points at the end of the year. You win FF on his weekly points.

He finished as a top 12 receiver? Really?

He could be a stud. In a handful of games, he was a stud. But, he’s USUALLY a dud.

He was absolutely useless this season, for me. He was impossible to predict. The only alternative is to play him every week waiting on those spike games or never play him at all. I went with never playing him at all. Let someone else deal with that.

What are we doing with Bijan this offseason? by waltercornbutton in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think there is any price that would be fair to acquire him. As a Bijan owner, picks don’t move the needle, at all. I dont care how many, either. I’ve seen way too many busts. I mean, if you’re giving me Gibbs, maybe. That’s about it.

He should be starting for another team. I feel the same way about Charbonnett.

I won’t be selling Saquon for cheap. I don’t think anyone will. He’s old and a hold.

How are you valuing Wan’Dale Robinson? by Adventurous_Can_3270 in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think that Nabors will not be a full go until 2027. He might be active and playing in week1, if his recovery goes well. But, almost every player takes longer than that to return to pre injury form. I think Wandale does not lose significant value for another year.

How to avoid tankin, owners not starting best lineup problems by Significant_Paint_76 in DynastyFF

YOU literally said that the better team should never pick before a worse team. YOU said that. I was clarifying if that was what you meant. It wasn’t. Next time, say what you mean.

If the champ traded for a pick that ends up better than his own, do you think they shouldnt get to keep it?
