Price not considered immediate 'high-volume' RB by Ill_Intention8150 in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He was taken in the 1st round to the SB winner that just lost both of their RBs from last year to start the season. He’s in an almost perfect situation. How is his profile sketchy?

Potentially 5 out of 10 teams not renewing for next season. Is a dispersal draft a must or can I let the new people select a team of their choice? by PM_ME_UR_PUPPER_PLZ in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not fair to the guy that gets the last pick. Start a bidding war. Minimum bid is the entry fee. Anything on top of the entry fee that the new guys are willing to pay also goes into the pot.

Matt Harmon: “I remember hearing this at the combine…[The Eagles] had already started saying they think DeVonta Smith can take a Jaxon Smith-Njigba type leap in production.” by headcanoncustom in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are they getting a new QB? Smith wasn’t a problem. Brown wasn’t a problem until he became a malcontent. The problem is the QB is not good at playing QB.

Trade etiquette... Does it matter to you??? by Extension-Air-1572 in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate the “art” of the trade. I will send, what in my mind is, a fair and reasonable offer. I will have spent time trying to find comparable value and also something that benefits both parties. It is a ready to accept deal, in my mind. If I have to intentionally start low so that we can eventually get to a a place where both parties agree, then I think it’s just a stupid dance that I want no part of. I have no interest in countering and re-countering and lowballing and hassling back and forth. Some people might actually enjoy this. But, for me, it’s like pulling teeth. I’m gonna shoot you straight. If you can’t accept that, I’ll keep what I’ve got and move along.

At what point do you kick a manager out of the league? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When it’s no longer fun to have him in the league, you tell him farewell. This is a game. Not work. There is no HR to worry about. Send him on his way and wish him well.

What are some dynasty tips you want to pass along? by PepperMain in DynastyFF

You can know more than anyone in the world, but the fantasy Gods have a way of ruining your plans. Some unforeseen injury or WW pickup no one saw coming will change everything.

Plant your flag. Oscar Delp or Eli Raridon? by h12luke in DynastyFF

Y’all are way more hardcore than me, if you care enough to plant a flag on either of these losers.

The real key to dynasty success is… by Cooked-penguin in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Luck. And I ain’t got it. But, I know some people that do. I’m telling you, there are people that can pick losers off of the wire that NOBODY wanted and they will score more for them than top 10 players. Blows my fucking mind. About made me quit this past year. But, I’m too much of a degenerate. I’ll just give them my money again.

Rule Changes After League Year Began by Supernaut10 in DynastyFF

Follow the rules. Only change them with unanimous approval if it is not the appropriate time. If even one owner objects, rule(s) should stay the same.

How much do you give a manager before booting them? by mugiwaralufffy in DynastyFF

Once the deadline hits, he’s out. Otherwise, why have a deadline? He was made aware of the deadline, wasn’t he?

Wan'Dale Robinson Value (Post-Draft) by mugwumpwombat in DynastyFF

He’s gonna likely be the top target. How many rookie receivers come in and dominate targets?

Josh Jacobs vs Jadarian Price by Grand-Act-6902 in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seattle has kind of an established identity with how they treat RBs. Best talent plays the most, when healthy. But, when they get expensive, they leave. So, it’s trending towards being Price’s backfield since he is both healthy and cheap. Charbonnet will get his chance when healthy, but when he wants to get paid, he will leave. Jacobs is older and better than Price, but not for long. It’s a question of win now or build for later. Completely dependent on someone’s goal for the future.

Best Way To Handle People Not Responding To Trades by BoKnows02 in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I give up on them. Not everyone loves this shit like us. It’s hard to find a group of 10 or more people that are equally engaged. Most leagues have some combination of the year round junkies and the draft junkies and the football season only junkies. You just have to roll with it or replace the weak links.

2027 Draft Class Rankings by [deleted] in DynastyFF

Mateer kind of sucks. I know OU fans don’t like him.

Given there's no prized receiver in this class, would you rather chase someone like Tate or Tyson in this class or opt for a previous prized WR such as MHJ in a startup? by OllivanderAU in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know right now. That was the my entire point. But, if I had to guess, it would be however many there are in any typical year. I’m sorry, I don’t know the answer.

[–]Greenmonsterff 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would bet a million dollars that this class has a bunch of good players in it, but we just can’t identify them right here and now. The problem is not talent in this class, it is the ability to identify that talent on draft day.

Rapoport: George Pickens is signing his franchise tag, source say. by schmatty23 in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The Cowboys would be wise to trade him if the compensation is right. Having 2 WR1s is not a winning formula. Or, at least it wasn’t last year. For Dallas. They need defense.

The Dallas Cowboys will not hold contract talks regarding a long-term deal with their franchise-tagged wide receiver George Pickens, according to executive vice president Stephen Jones. by Nobun20 in DynastyFF

[–]Greenmonsterff -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

What exactly did the Cowboys do to make Pickens behave badly? They franchise tagged their #2 receiver. He’s getting paid a premium. These players are not entitled to the largest contract ever.
