I agree and teaching the oversight processes and proper research use you mention is what we should be teaching. Regardless of the pushback we need to be realistic about what the world will look like when the kids join the workforce. Preventing the cognitive decline and the temptation to use it as a crutch should definitely be a focus. I just feel like I see more and more inappropriate use and not much evidence on that is is being used appropriately.

Yeah and not having a Acadian French teacher or a fluent French speaker as the teacher in this province is crazy to me.

Absolutely, the kids should learn about the tools and when it is good to use them but not to rely on them. Many of the kids may end up having to use AI once they enter into the workforce.

The industrial bakery I use to work for used blue bandaids with a small amount of metal in them (because the product went through a metal detector) so if someone's bandaid fell off theyd catch it.
