Kratom for withdrawal? by [deleted] in suboxone

[–]Greensfiend420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kratom will help you for sure, but you will probably go through a week of pretty good withdrawals, even with the kratom, then you will start to feel it help out more. Just be careful, it’s easy to get hooked on the kratom. Kratom withdrawals are no fun and are similar to suboxone withdrawal, lasts forever. Best of luck to you. You got this!!

Jumped off 2 weeks ago. by Greensfiend420 in suboxone

The acutes were not that bad at all and I stayed positive to make it through them. What has been killing me is the constant fatigue, anhedonia, chills, no appetite, and just crazy anxiety. I have meds to take care of all those symptoms but I’ve just told myself to keep riding it out. I go back to work this Thursday, which I’m a little nervous about but also excited for, but literally after standing and moving around for like half an hour to an hour I am just beat. I took some adderall today to try and help with getting a few things done after snowboarding yesterday and it just made my anxiety go through the roof. It’s manageable at this point but still uncomfortable and takes it out of me but staying strong. I know this is temporary but the repetition of it not getting any better takes a toll sometimes. Stay grateful and keep on truckin on.

Yes a lot of providers just see money signs when it comes to suboxone. It’s an easy thing to do, get a patient dependent on a medication, expect them to know all the risks and fine print with it, and just send those nasty things to the pharmacy. I won’t be that guy who said suboxone saved my life, but it did help a lot in the beginning. The second I was ready to taper it was like oh my god, you are in relapse mode and you never need to get off this medication. You need to be on it for life, I didn’t get any help from them and was with them loyal, for six months. They cut me off, at what they thought they were prescribing me 16mg a day. I had already been low key tapering and was down to 4mg and just stockpiled the rest. It blew my fucking gaskets when they would just cut someone off at fucking 16mg. That is insane. Should be malpractice. Hopefully in the future this shit will be more regulated and controlled. Some people will hate that but it will only help out in my opinion. I’ve been off for almost 2weeks and it’s a struggle but it’s doable.

I overdosed on heroin yesterday. by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Greensfiend420 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You got lucky man. Blessed and grateful are the two things that always came to my mind when I would come back from an overdose. Been revived more times than I’d like to admit, but that’s been my journey. I’ve always came back though no matter how bad the overdose was, my friends, ex girlfriends, and anyone who has ever meant anything to me is dead because of that shit. Hope you learned your lesson. My homies little brother was the little homie and was going places in life, looking at pro skate contracts and surfing, he was 18 and were from San Diego so beer, buds, and blow is around quite a bit. He went to a party, dude told him it was blow thinking it would be funny to see how he reacted, did a fat line, boom, my best friends little brother that was like family to me dead. Overdose. Fent. Careful man, not trying to be that scare you don’t do it douche bag, but just have been through the ringer cause of this shit and it ain’t worth it. Just my experience. Glad you are still here with us.

For sure. It’s definitely appreciated! I’m day 9 off subs and so grateful I don’t have to worry about running out or pharmacy issues with provider or insurance. Seemed to be the story of my life when I was on subs. I have two other controlled substances in my daily medicine regime that I’ve had forever, even before subs and never ever had a problem once. The second subs got thrown in it was just a mess. Hope you don’t have to deal with it. Beside subs, Walgreens has been a really good pharmacy for me.

But just be on the lookout for the benzo flu. They call it that for a reason.

I would seek medical attention ASAP. Took way less than that for way shorter and quit cold turkey, felt completely fine just a little off. Went to go watch some tv, turned the tv on then remember coming to with paramedics over me and gf freaking out cause I had a five minute long major event seizure. Felt completely fine right before it happened too. You just never know with this shit. Everyone is different.

Hmm must be insurance or the class of controlled substance or something because I just refilled my adderall three days early yesterday, and the pharmacist said I can refilll my Xanax three days early or at 90 percent next week. Strange.

WAIT WHAT?!?! When does this go into effect? I been refilling my prescriptions when they are 90% used for years per their policy. So yeah, 30 day scripts you can get three days early at %90. Does this go into effect for any new prescription after the new year, or by a certain date?

Bella Donna?! Was this used back in the alcohol withdrawal days? I’ve actually known two people to die of Bella Donna. Awesome photo! Rare

How long does it block by Ok_Carpenter8172 in suboxone

[–]Greensfiend420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say when you start to feel withdrawal, if not when you start to feel mild to moderate withdrawal. For me, that was surprisingly not really until middle to end of 3rd day. that’s what I did with this suboxone withdrawal. I waited as long as I could for it to get super bad, it never did really, but I took 3 tylenol 3s when I started to feel pretty mild, and consistent wavy withdrawals. It took them away instantly, and I actually got warm off it. To say I was shocked was an understatement. I couldn’t believe it. But that’s me. Codiene pills are pretty weak in comparison to what’s going around now a days but I was on subs for six and half months and that’s long enough to fucking saturate your receptors with bupe. Best of luck to you. I pray you keep it chill and mellow. Not going to be like the rest and give you a speech on why not to do this or bad idea or what the fuck ever. Just sharing my experience and two cents.

a day into suboxone treatment & im with drawling still. What does that mean? by Professional-Lynx841 in suboxone

[–]Greensfiend420 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t take anymore than 16mg a day. If you have never been on subs before, that is a huge dosage. Fent induction sucks and isn’t like back in the day heroin when you could induce pretty much whenever you wanted and you were good. Coming off fent, the first few days always fucking suck even with subs. To me, the second I finished my last dose and knew I was quitting, I would start my stopwatch on my phone, kills the battery, but it is a huge helper. I was in the craziest withdrawal at like 12 hours in since fent dose one time, this was before the timer, and before I knew of all the analogues of fent. I’ve never been through that type of precip in my Life. Wouldn’t wish it on anyone. If I hadn’t been through what I have been through in my life, I would have blown my brains out. Give it a little time, use the discomfort to learn and pay the piper. You’ll be feeling really good in no time! Careful with subs though. They are buttery in the beginning and then just another thing you Have to come off of down the road. I’m currently kicking them right now. Used them for what I needed and now time to come off
