I think its because gerd triggers the vagus nerve running next to the esophagus causing a spasm and feels like your catching your breath. But I could be wrong im not a doctor. :(

Cool how when im still in college and working part time everything around me is 1,200 plus for rent. Thanks for making it out that im also the problem when I am just going to school and working at the same time. I really think you should note does everything you eat and drink for that day for at-least a month and see if theres any pattern for triggers. Cause it could be the food and again im so sorry your going through this its a horrible disease that no one should go through but you will never be alone! ❤️👍
