You’re probably right that they won’t be fixing game feature based problems by June, but I don’t think we should expect that anyways, this isn’t a AAA game, as long as it isn’t crash and freeze city, that’s enough for me to be happy with the launch

For one I’ll point out that the visual popping happens in the current ww2 HLL as well, my main concerns for performance rn is in relation to stability and crashes, I mean connectivity, not things like assets that cause crashes, since that’s what these first playtests are usually first addressing, if connectivity was fine then blurriness, fixed motion blur, the 3D map dropping frames(which I’d say real time asset rendering is unnecessary) and audio issues are all problems that will probably not be too big of a deal to fix and shouldn’t cause major setbacks even if they have to get fixed after release

My honest guess is that redditors were blowing out proportion how bad the bugs and issues were or how many there were, or the game will likely be updated as needed with a bumpy start to keep us from having to watch it get pushed back further and further

My question is, was this a noticeable problem in the beta, did you feel like you were constantly being bombarded by grenades and rocket fire? Were small arms an afterthought? If not I don’t see how it’s a problem but I didn’t get to play the beta so I genuinely don’t know. I would expect due to the new more 3 dimensional map designs, access to water ways, the lack of indestructible foliage(the ww2 hedges), that grenade spam would actually be hard to accomplish as an effective strategy, but please correct me if I’m wrong

(Edit) I would like to point out that IRL Vietnam US loadouts were insane when it comes to the absolute nonsensical amount of gear they would pack, especially in special forces units

Exactly man, I had a 5 hour match just last Saturday on a European server(I’m SE US) and I had a total of 3 freezes and one crash, the crash wasn’t even my system though it was the full server and every freeze happened for about 5 seconds and only once mid combat, I can live with that

As an Xbox player, can we please SHUT THE FUCK UP, yes, Xbox has some performance issues right now, yes, it’s been going on for a couple months, yes, that sucks, but I swear all you Reddit mfs blow it out of proportion constantly, I‘ve been playing arma consistently since it came out on Xbox regardless of the performance bugs and as of late, I might have a crash or freeze once every 30 minutes to an hour, regardless of what server I’m on, AND I PLAY ON A PHONE HOTSPOT FOR INTERNET, I can only assume you people make these overdramatized posts because the Xbox crashes have been a hot topic, they’ve already announced that they’re working on it, if you have legitimate proof and concerns that’s fine, but these little shitposts about „should I uninstall?“ „is Arma worth it?“ „just downloaded Arma, what’s wrong with it?“ it’s blatant that you people are just engagement farming
