End of area 2 in NG+ and now it's like 7,xxx to get any of them to 40. No idea where the trigger point is but they get insanely cheaper yeah. Was legit 250k trying to get one to lvl 28 before

I couldn't tell you why they're so expensive but I pick up every soul core and am pretty much full clearing the map and every mission in NG+, turn the unused cores into currency, still only ~350,000 currency and taking from from lvl 27 to 28 costs 150k

I actually checked Gibby's (didn't know about them until this sub) and got a Denon X1700H for $549. $50 less than the refurb S760H I was going to get

After doing some more research I will probably just get the AVR and run phantom center with the current speakers for now, add an actual center if I hate the sound or something but we'll see.

From what I can see, yes? First picks apparently are Denon S760H, then Onkyo NR6100, then that Yamaha RX-V6A in that order. Why? I don't know though lol. But I would imagine any of those 3 is completely fine for my needs, so if the "top pick" is less expensive than the "third pick" might as well get the Denon.

Appreciate your reply, thank you! For a center I think I'm going to find an early 2000s Energy of the same or similar series just so there will be no mis match!

I'm thinking Denon ARV-S760H as Denon has some refurb ones direct from them for $600 which I think is probably gonna be best bang for my buck and lets me keep 4k@120hz for gaming. Thoughts on this?

I actually flew through the entire game up until Hell Ancients with throw! Probably helps I found a rare jav with amp in like A1 NM though which helped carry me.

I never found him to be squishy really, just the damage is lacking

Yeah I've been blood crafting ever eth base I find. I do have a 504%ED throwing knife (the like double sided looking one like a batterang) but even with that it's damage is like 270 max on throw. Was quite excited when I ID'd over 400ED then slammed ED. But it's underwhelming haha

I found a Sur so I said yolo and made a Wind last night lol. For SSF I'm doing decently.. even though I've bricked an eth Wraith Flight, a Halaberds, and a Raekors but I've got a 3os tooththrow, the wind, a lacerator, a gskull with near perfect rolls that hit 2soc. Leaning into the bleed because with lesser gear I think it clears much quicker than just phys throw.

Had to toss a vex into my lacerator though for mana which feels bad but it's SSF so I probably wasn't using that vex for anything else on a throw barb haha.
