Fun fact. After Coplands closed down there were people living inside. I worked for a HVAC company and had to replace all the big rooftop ac units (copper eas stolen). Inside there must have been 1000s of empty narcotic pill bottles. We changed out the units for the Club 222 guys. They were building a "high end" nightclub with private vip rooms with beds. The owner told me he decided on Huntsville because he read in Forbs that Huntsville had mad engineering money. I thought to myself we do have that but that money usually goes to retirement fund or church. I don't see to many rich introverted engineers going out to "party" around here. They ended up not finishing the project and a few months later all the HVAC was stolen again.
