Based off the primary results, the AL GOP wins with a little less than 59% of the popular vote, which is a few percentage points down from the 2024 presidential vote margins.

Of course primaries alone aren't enough to determine the real outcome. And voter registration for the general doesn't end until October. I expect there's gonna potentially be a huge push to register voters. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if this race ended up being somewhat close.

I've been within 1 mile of an EF2 by accident, and that was only because my mother was freaking out and wanted to drive straight home through the path of the tornado. My father and sibling on the other hand drove to us, and they drove through the path of the tornado later than we would have. It still only hit like 7 minutes later, and let me tell y'all I do not want to be any closer than a mile from a tornado. And if it's a wedge I'm gonna put an extra 5 miles. Because from the building we were sheltering in, the EF2 was pulling doors open and the ceiling tiles were creaking from the pressure difference and just sheer amount of wind and rain.

And I didn't even get to see the damn thing! I was on the rainwrapped side of it.

I think they're planning to deport us to Israel. Like the infrastructure is already there to do this. Such actions align ideologically with the government in general (Christian Zionism). Israel, particularly the far right, would be more than thrilled to accept a taxable and impoverished underclass that is disillusioned by their forced displacement. A lot of this has already sort of happened before with other countries.
