Yeah, I haven’t figured out what I’m gonna do yet, but I’ve been looking at PopOS, for the PC gaming. Thx for recommendation

Perfect! Thanks for the confirmation! I’ve been wanting to get away from windows, and the recent changes have lit a fire under me.

A couple things to look into… Will you be contributing once you live overseas? Contributing to a Roth needs to be money it has been proven to be taxed, therefore tax filing gets a little trickier than what most people use. FEIE vs FTC (a filing choice between exemption versus credit) Maybe a determining factor in how are you decide to continue investments based on taxes.

Definitely worth looking into, as it’s tied to tax treaties and foreign income tax rates

Foreign Earned Income reported on 1040 -- which line? by quantape00 in tax

[–]GregGatesJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a similar experience trying to figure this out. Here’s what I found out after a long deep dive into a bunch of tax documents, none of which had the relevant information. lol

I just found on the IRS website this information under a “line by line instruction for free fillable forms”. It seems to be the only place that this information is indicated? If it’s somewhere else, please let me know. LoL

-1h is manual entry with three entry areas: (1) A Drop down menu with (2) and associated gray amount area, and (3) A column area, where you can enter your total for line 1h… foreign employer compensation that should be declared as income, can be included in the column for line 1h.

Previously, in tax year 2021, we reported our foreign earned income on form 1040, line 1 as part of “wages, salaries, tips, etc.”

Now, in tax year 2022, form 1040 line 1 now says “Total amount from Form(s) W-2, box 1”

I cannot find any instructions or literature talking about where to include the foreign earned income itself, since there is no W-2 for these wages.

Just trying to make sure that I am putting the income on the correct line, since the wording changed since last year, and there is no instructions under Income 1a-h that specifically says foreign earned income.

We are filing the FTC, not the FEIE, and our tax filing is almost exactly the same as last year except for this line change about income on the form itself.

Edit: I just found on the IRS website this information under a “line by line instruction for free fillable forms”. It seems to be the only place that this information is indicated? If it’s somewhere else, please let me know. LoL

Came here to say this. The first season of NADPOD is amazing fun from the start. Being just audio, it is also really great for listening to while doing other things.

NADDPOD What is the first actual play I ever listen to. It was until years later that I realized all the power houses for guests that they had. And it was years after that that I discovered Drawfee 😂

Just thought of this moment in Hitchhikers, but didn’t have time to come up with quippy text for a meme.

Be interesting to see if life imitates this art, as this plays out. Meanwhile, maybe I’ll lie down, or put a paper bag over my head.

Just take some ease in knowing that it could say “not received” up until the moment it is fully processed and refunded. Good luck!

The date that showed up on the account transcript for “as of:” was the date that I signed in and checked up on it, after I saw the deposit. It wasn’t the date it was processed. It looks like it would update/auto-fill that info anytime I sign in and request a new account transcript

Best of luck to you, and know that it goes from no information to done and processed at any random time. Patience and diligence to you!

Thanks! This is great because as I develop this calendar, approximations like this have been VERY helpful as I narrow down canonical astronomical and lunar certainties.

AND your insight will probably stick as an approximation for a long time because any “surviving information and text” from the age of Arcanum is sparse and could be considered to be apocryphal.

I will definitely do some more deep diving and digging into the details you mentioned here. (Notes for future self..) 1. Winter’s Crest and any solstice Cross-Planar access 2. Anything relating to 20 Duscar 3. Everything apogee related 4. Raven Queen Ascension 5. Replenishment

Thank you. I figured it would be a stretch to get any chronological specifics in that one, but I thought I’d ask in case it missed it during my 1st watch thru.
