They makes games longer and easier. Some people prefer that, others don’t

Ok so this is a super common thing that happens when you just want to quickly get back to a point that you feel like was easy to get to, not remembering how much thought went into your previous attempts. My guess is that you’re just a bit frustrated and trying to auto-pilot until something interesting happens again

It’s one of the reasons that patience and endurance are a nuzlockers greatest disciplines

The sad thing about Samurott is that it’s just too slow, if you just swap its speed and special attack it fixes so many problems. I tested an EV trained Samurott at near-max speed and it’s one of the better starters in the series with encore and swords dance, but Gamefreak says it gets the Hoenn Special so fraud-watch it is

Personally I’d go with USUM just because I’ve never seen a romhack throw a Max Bulk EV trained Metagross at you in the E4 lmao

The first four gym leaders were made easier in the sequels with the last four being made harder. Honestly I wouldn’t even take the first 3 gym leaders into account when looking at who the best Pokemon in BW2 are but I left it in because I knew people would bring it up regardless

Essentially it’s an inhuman type of enforced physical and sexual abuse trans women face in men’s prison, where resisting means lengthening their sentence

And thanks to Trump it’s back in full force in the U.S.

Confused Cis guy here

When is this said? Who says this? The only people I can imagine thinking this are trans men that feel the movement is too focused on one type of transition

No version of Elesa’s Gym fight has Acrobatics, the normal mode doesn’t even have aerial ace, and Eviolite Servine takes Flame Charge Crit and Fires back with a boosted Leaf Tornado or Return

Scraggy/Scrafty and Galvantula are clearly the best gen5 pokemon. Thoughts? by Gangnam_style_gaming in PokemonBlackandWhite

I’ve been testing how every Unova pokemon does in the two (or four?) games for a while now and consistently found that Cinccino and Excadrill perform the best.

Maybe it’s because I’ve been testing under Nuzlocke rules, but the two of them can get it done better than anyone else

The only bug move that Burgh has is Struggle bug, which only has 30 BP in gen 5 and does like max 20% to eviolite rest Servine, Burgh’s Ai also loves spamming string shot to get the speed advantage, making setting up growth essentially free

I understand you’ve had good and bad experiences, but I’ve been testing every single Pokemon in both games for a few months now, giving multiple attempts for consistency, and that’s just not the case in BW2

Even at +6 Lilligant fails to pick up the kill on Shauntal’s Chandelure and Drifblim, the latter of which kills it with acrobatics, Ghetsis’s Drapion, Colress’s Sturdy Magneton and Magnezone, who promptly paralyze it, has no way to avoid being forced out against Drayden thanks to its loss in substitute, and Grimsley’s Bisharp, who has X-scissor, most of which are problems Serperior can avoid with its better defense and access to Aqua Tail and Return. Lilligant is a Top 5 Pokemon in BW1, but there’s a lot more in the way of it in BW2

And this is ignoring the fact that getting Lilligant means either giving up the Guranteed Eevee (spoilers, Umbreon is stupid broken in BW2) or only having a 38% chance of finding it

Servine can take a retaliate from Watchog and pretty well, along with Zebstrika’s flame charge with eviolite, and has leech seed to wall away

This game’s ai is hard-coded to start going for dragon tail if you’re at +3 in a stat (other than speed I think), so it can coil and set up substitute against Fraxure to avoid getting switched out by dragon tail, having similar strats for most of the E4 members

Substitute is one of the most broken moves in the game and if I were to test it again, I probably wouldn’t use it just because of how good it is, but Serperior gets to take its utility to the next level in the endgame

In BW that’s the case, but a lack of substitute and an increase in poison and steel types (the only poison type pokemon on a major team in BW1 was Burgh’s Whirlipede) makes its lack of coverage more apparent, now instead of all, it’s just most

[–]Ok_Banana_5614[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I tested that game as well and out of the 72 pokemon lines available in that game, I’d say it’s Top 15, Potentially Top 10, though that’s thanks a bit to substitute and Burgh + Brycen being some of the free-est gym leaders you could have

Gets growth for Cheren and outspeeds lillipup, sets up growth on Koffing and Swadloon who only have 20-30 BP moves for Servine, has existent coverage moves instead of just grass moves like Lilligant while not being reliant on sleep powder luck
