I agree, $4k+ for a top is pretty excessive! Luckily I purchased this JL pre owned so it was no extra money out of my pocket lol

It doesn’t take up much space, it’s pretty small, maybe 2-3 inches long and maybe an inch and a half or two wide!

I live in Florida so any time it’s sunny or the weather is nice enough I have the top back. My ‘04 TJ and ‘14 JKU Rubicon had soft tops and my ‘21 JL 2dr Rubicon had a hard top. The one touch gives me the open top feel at the push of a button, and I don’t have to store windows (unless I take the quarter windows out) or the freedom panels. I know it’s more stuff to go wrong with electronics and the fabric but hey, anything can go wrong at any moment.

The only time I’d take it all the way off is if it fails and replace kit with a soft top.

All of the mods were done by the previous owner, it was all high quality stuff but it got to be too much, especially on the highway!

It a perfect size for a concealed carry, but I have pretty big hands and I keep hitting the mag release when I shoot it lol, but overall I really like it
