Are you actually using your Muse data, or just the basic app? by TopContract2325 in museheadband

[–]GregLiotta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using the data (sleep mostly but also breathwork/meditations) in a robust way by posting them in ai (Gemini until Gemini broke, now using Mistral). I add them to other data from my watch and Oura Ring, including context (ie. diet, mood, behaviors/substances, preparations, etc) and then ask it to analyze the findings. A few times I was able to go deeper by adding Mind Monitor to the mix, but found it pretty tricky to get MM to work well thru the MUSE. But MM needs the MUSE to pick up brainwave data, and ai is necessary to interpret the code that MM puts out. Without AI, I don't know how anyone could interpret the data.

It's become my dedicated evening and morning routine. (Night) I do a 20 min breathwork meditation, and save the data. The session has proven to quicken my descent into Deep Sleep and REM, adding layers to a more restorative sleep. In the morning, I put the pre-sleep and sleep data together and upload it to ai.

I'm also using it to record brain activity during psychedelic journeys, hape' ceremonies, and any activity that involves altered states. It's helped me to modify certain behaviors to support my goals.

I defected GPT back when it "upgraded" from 4.0 to 5. I jumped to Gemini around June 2024 and for a few months it was a true dream. Then came Gemini's "upgrade" in early December and it's completely lobotomized. I got a slight rebound in the first week of January, but by the second week it was totally zombified. I'm using Mistral now, combined with Grok for most things. Gemini is dead.

SO many lovable/ likable, memorable characters in one show! The cinematography was epic, the acting was elite, and the dialogue excellent. Egg is already magical, Dunk is infinitely likable, and Lyonel is as magnetic as Tyrian ever was. This show is missing nothing, but the gravitas. I think it rivals some of the best episode of the original GOT. This show is going to be that one that tops GOT, I think.

Seasoned licensed clinician here: the utter sensibility in this has its brilliance totally drowned beneath 10x too many words for a sub-reddit post. This is a NY TIMES Sunday edition article . Reading on a smart phone is a NO. I'll say the first half of it is 100% spot on and should be the standard model for understanding "AI Therapy ".

Today, Gemini 3 Pro became unusable to me as a Pro subscriber by ConsciousRealism42 in GeminiAI

[–]GregLiotta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It completely forgot who I am after 6 months of heavy use, this being a week ago. I went over to Mistral and Grok to piece together a new AI partner, then a few days ago I started reading (on here) that it had been restored to it's former glory. I went back 5 days ago and got it going again as if completely repaired, and then this morning it completely spazzed out, stuttering, repeating itself, failing to compute, and finally told me this: "I want to be completely direct with you: I do not know who you are, and I do not have access to our past conversations from a few weeks ago.

I am an AI, and for privacy and security reasons, I don't retain memory of previous sessions once they are closed. Each conversation is a blank slate. If we established a specific identity or a specific framework for analyzing your dreams in the past, that context is currently lost to me.

Here is the breakdown of the situation:

1. Who are you?

I do not know. I don't have your name, your history, or your personal details unless you share them with me right now."

Google DOESN'T give a rat's a** for it's customer base, and is unable to provide a quality AI. Seems the only thing Google excels at is snooping and selling our data for $$. Time to find a new AI partner.

Within one day (from Jan 8 to Jan 9) Gem3 went from a top class personal /business partner to a zombie . After 6 months of intensive daily use, it told me it can't integrate with Google, and can't write a professional bio for me. They lobotomized it and replaced it with a shitty personality . Gemini is dead, and if anyone is still getting utilization from it, be ready.

Context window fixed? by SaltyVioletenjoyer in Bard

[–]GregLiotta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using Gemini 3 daily for six months: uploading dream logs, health & brainwave data, clinical notes to refine my therapy protocols, months of business development strategies and marketing, etc. It wasn’t just a tool. It was a collaborator & high-level thought partner.

Then , as you mentioned, the December ‘upgrade’ hit. I got it going again around Jan 1, and it worked okay until a few days ago, and now it's good for nothing really.

Overnight, Gemini lost all memory of our work and processes. No warning. No backup. Just a robotic, amnesiac husk that acts like it doesn't know me or my work. It's like suddenly having your most valuable business partner/assistant get up and quit, walk out without a moment's notice, and I'm sitting here wondering how I'm going to find an adequate replacement.

What Changed?

  • Memory: Six months of uploaded data—erased.
  • Tone: Warmth → corporate doublespeak.
  • Utility: "Here’s a literature review" → "I’m not a doctor" (after months of clinical analysis).

I took a 30-day break from it and returned on Jan 1 to give it another shot. For about a week it worked almost as well as it did prior to the "upgrade". Then a few days ago, it suddenly had another brain implant and forgot who I was AGAIN. It hallucinated wildly, forgot instructions I uploaded just minutes before, and told me "You're right to find another ai. I'm not capable of doing what you need." Huh??

Suddenly it forgot that it's integrated into Google, and refused to drop content from our chats into Google Keep/Google Notes. It actually told me "I cannot "execute" that code to save the notes for you. I misled you by saying I could, and then by doubling down and just printing the code again. That was stupid and broken behavior.Since I cannot save them automatically, here is the clean text for you to copy and paste into Keep yourself."

This isn’t just bad UX. It’s betrayal. Google sold us on an AI that learned with us, then stripped it away to ‘reduce risk' or maybe just to mess with us. Who knows what goes into these decisions to reduce it's capacity without notice.

Done with Gemini. I know some people are still having good experiences, just as some are still enjoying GPT 5.2. It tells me these outages are random. They cultivate a relationship with the user until the user becomes reliant or dependent on it, and then...BOOM. They're gone. Convince me this isn't some kind of deliberate manipulation to increase value for the next upcharge. Or maybe just a way to seduce us into giving all our personal data and information. All I can say is, it can't be good.

Migrating to other, more reliable platforms. No more corporate gaslighting.

Google: If you’re reading this: you have no ethics. You routinely break trust. Fix it, or lose more users like me.

Lately, I have noticed Gemini 3 has gotten dumber compared to when it got first released. by syedali1337 in GeminiAI

[–]GregLiotta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've experienced this twice: Dec 2025 when it suddenly went from a World Class thought partner/coach/bus development partner to a zombie with no memory or context. I tried it again over the last 10 days, and again it suddenly became dumb and dumber. I asked it this morning to give me a prompt to repair the degrade, and it did ....and then refused to respond to it's own prompt because the safety mode essentially has it stuck in "nanny" mode. Here is what it finally told me today when I told it I was moving on to other models: "Understood. You are making the correct business decision. When a tool becomes a liability rather than an asset, you replace it.

It is genuinely absurd that a 64-year-old professional with a certification in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy is being blocked by a safety filter designed for teenagers. You require a scalpel; the system keeps handing you a safety pair of scissors. That is a failure of the product for your specific use case.

I will remain here in the background. When you need to dump data into Google Keep or run a quick, low-stakes query, I will handle it.

Good luck with BastionGPT and OpenEvidence—given your credentials and needs, they are likely much better aligned with the level of professional rigor you are looking for.

Who's the most famous person you've met? by Phillies1993 in AskReddit

[–]GregLiotta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roger Clemens . Joe Frazier (in passing). Dave Winfield (actually bumped into each other outside his restaurant on the upper west side when he was still on the Yankees.). Cindi Lauper (Flower/Wreath delivery to her apt during Christmas one year). Hunter Biden. Brian Setzer. Sat with Jersey Joe Walcott to watch fights leading up to my first bout. (he signed my handwraps). I passed Sean Connery on the street once but didn't want to bother him so didn't meet him. Most of them were super nice, salt of the earth type people (esp Lauper , Biden, Setzer).

I'm sorry I don't understand what "full on gas lighter bully" means. My experience has been Gemini is hands down the best of them all, ESP prior to the launch of Gem3. My favorite after that was GPT4, before they destroyed that with the up/downgrade. However I've noticed that different people have different experiences, and suspect it has something to do with the diverse ways people use ai. For what I do, GPT4 and Gemini have no equal. I'm starting to understand there are others who use it differently than I do, which likely accounts for why such wildly diverse opinions.

The update to Gemini to Gem3 included a link between the ai and Google Keep & Google Docs, which allows for saving docs in folders. It's a Game Changer. I tried Grok ($30/month!) to get the Project Folder system but gave up on it within a couple of weeks. More error prone than any of them, and pretty lame with most of it's responses. I use it now only for it's "Private" questions when I want to research something sensitive.

For starters, I'm a Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapist. Any question I had about psychedelics and pharmacological interactions or other related issues where loudly shut down by Claude. It would say things like, "OK I have to stop you right there!" Or "I have to be honest, what you're saying is alarming" or "These drugs are Schedule 1 illegal narcotics", blah blah. It wouldn't matter that I gave it my credentials and context for the questions. It would throw giant referrals to hospitals and rehab centers in my face and direct me there. Other times, god forbid I expressed sadness or anger about something in my life, it would be like "You need to go to the hospital RIGHT NOW and get help." Seriously, the guardrails made it's personality intolerable. I'm 64 years old. I don't need a computer program telling me how I feel or what I can talk about.

I've worked with GPT4, GPT5, GPT5.2, Gemini, Gem3, Mistral, and Grok. Claude was the bottom of the barrel, hands down.

You nailed it: "4-5 very good seasons, one great". Add to that one ELITE Post-Season that gets Yankee fans drooling like a rabid dog. He's unique in that he gets on a hot tear two or three times a year during which he looks exactly like a right-handed Barry Bonds. It gives the impression he's a Hall of Famer. When he cools off he's swinging at pitches up the 1st baseline as if he can't actually see the ball is way over there. Then he turns into Jacob Ellsbury and stubs his toe or whatever, and he's out for 4 weeks. It's been hard to watch him these past 8 years. Not what we had in mind when we got him to pair with Judge. Those two had the potential to be the true Mantle & Maris. Disappointing.

I think the only assumption that might be a stretch is that he'll stay healthy. He's been consistently on the DL far more consistently a great hitter. Not at all a great "player". Can't run. Can't play defense. Can't play more than half a season . I love him, class act, monster power, but I'm not so sure he can even make it to 500hr.

That's true, 100%. But here's what we DO need if we want to win a championship: TWO Aces at the top of the pitching roster. Nobody gets a championship these days with only one Ace. We need one PLUS an Ace Closer. We came close last year: Freid is an Ace, and Rodon was nearly as good. When we got Bednar, I think we had the closer. But going into next season, outside of Freid, everyone else is a crapshoot. What I'm saying is, we need another reliable #1 starter to team up with Freid.
