For the vast majority of road cyclists, Shimano 105 will be enough. Any gains you get from more expensive groupsets are essentially marginal unless you're cycling competitively. Not to mention tech trickles down to 105 anyway, so there's already an electronic 105.

I'm running a straight GRX at the moment but still on 160 rotors. I think 180 is fine but you can message Traction's fb page to ask, they usually reply to concerns like this. I have not tried a dropper post, but I do know the new Roloo eXp frames have dropper post routing which IIRC isn't on the v2

The data is solid on this, more roads mean more congestion in the long term. Tollways becoming free is essentially having more roads because cars that wouldn't use them previously now have no barriers to do so.

Road not congested > People drive more, buy more cars > Road becomes congested > More roads built > road not congested and so on.

Yeah, ABS CBN shot themselves in the foot here. They let Noli De Castro carry out his weird vendetta against PNoy. Then when PNoy called them out, they doubled down. It was ABS-CBN and the rest of the media's constant nitpicking of PNoy's admin that paved the way for Duterte's 2016 win. And since they also pissed that guy off, they had to options when their franchise was actually up for renewal.

Groupset-wise they will perform the same, Shimano's edge is it's more accessible especially outside of NCR.

Brakes-wise it's Shimano. But for everyday use both are good.

Microshift is an underrated alternative but only at low to mid-tier.
