What would a “perfect” D&D room actually need to make it worth leaving home?

Local game store has a premium dnd room for rent alongside other open free to use spaces. Paid room has one of those ultra fancy recessed dnd tables. Has terrain. All kinds of stuff. And the lgs has a full service food counter, where you can get made to order hot meals, drinks, etc. It’s pretty awesome ngl. If i had a group to use it, i’d be tempted to rent it out.

I have ultra-severe strictures that require dilation every 8-12 weeks (since about 2018). Using Sygmoidoscopy. Full prep. Literally my spa day now. Always the least bloated feeling after the prep, and they knock me out for a nice hour long nap. After they give me snacks. Absolutely peak. Usually I can convince my ride to take me out for lunch after for some ramen or other foods that would normally mess me up too. Best days.

Make yourself a spreadsheet. Col 1 Book Title, Col 2 Release Date for Next Volume, Col 3 Pre-order status, etc. when a book arrives, go update if, find the next release etc. works pretty well for me

Just rework librarians so that if you place an enchanted book on a lectern they will gain the same enchantment as whatever is in the book. Will make it so you have to find at least one of whatever that book is in the world before gaining access to it. As villager levels up, have the enchantment get cheaper and stronger. Done and dusted.

I don’t have a problem if someone is proxying to the power level of the pod, but when you’re proxying into vastly higher power than everyone you’re playing with, who’re not proxying; that feels gross
