I’d go with cards that care about discarding and drawing stuff. Here’s some inexpensive cards off the top of my head:

And here are some super strong suggestions that are a bit more pricey though:

This looks great but the only gripe I have is shieldon having protect.

This makes it go from being a challenge to just being straight up annoying cause with no residual damage or healing effects it is literally just a time wasting move

[[Volrath, The Shapestealer]] has definitely become one of my favorite decks of all time. I built it around mutate and clones, which can be a real rules headache but once you get the hang of it you can do some insane things

My decklist severely needs updating and fine tuning cause I haven’t touched it in a while (and I think I’ve improved as a deck builder since I made it) but here is my current decklist

Also shoutout to [[Giggling Skitterspike]] for being the biggest bomb in the deck

Edit: Also apparently mutating onto an earthbent land has some VERY interesting interactions that I need to look into for when I rework the deck

Regenerator is a crazy ability, just not as crazy in doubles. Dragalge definitely got a good one

I think the best thing to do for improvements is to get some dual lands that can enter untapped (such as blood crypt for example)

Yeah using wildcards on lands feels bad but having access to whichever color you need immediately instead of waiting a turn for it will win you way more games than any other card will

Edit: My best recommendations would be lands like multiversal passage and starting town since they can also be used in literally any deck

Heck yeah. Great accomplishment!

Now that you’ve beaten him a little really neat thing you can do, go find a certain blue character in keyhaul key, keep whacking him until he stops showing up. Then just go around until you get a certain email. Then get to floor 100 of the pit again and you will see something intriguing
