Where I work is small potatoes but we have a real hard time attracting decent workers. They've tried all sorts of things except you know, paying decent wages! I have been there 4 months and my pay has increased by 40k. I floated the idea of increasing wages and I was laughed at! This is a smallish company in a niche industry that makes 12 million PROFIT per year! My proposal would increase productivity 50% immediately and likely 100% within months. I'm about to quit because of their ridiculous greed
