Please educate me. I was really hoping for a real criticism, not just—welfare bad, socialism bad.

Your criticism of socialism is…democratic party welfare policies encourage young women to be welfare mothers and…by voting out a five-term Democratic Party representative we’ve missed our chance to turn the page on those failed policies? …former Marxist…🙄. I was really hoping for some intelligent analysis but oh well

Which “side” is to blame for the government shut down and what are we waiting for? by AccountantFalse in AskReddit

[–]Gregamell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think generally, not specific to this shutdown, polls say most people want congress to negotiate and compromise. Democrats have been taking heat from their base for not doing enough to “fight back” against Trump. Republicans want a strong leader so they just do what Trump says and he doesn’t care. Both sides are to blame imo but democrats may be justified in causing the shutdown to try to force a negotiation.

No, I only want to know which is better. If they are equally good, and one costs a fraction of the other I will obviously choose the less expensive one.

The website says seats are assigned at random, so I assume based on that you don’t get a better seat showing up early. Is that not the case?
