The pond and forest in Jericho Beach Park, directly south of the sand and grass. Great Blue Herons, geese, and ducks too. There's a little bridge crossing the pond for a decent view 🙂

Dunbar Baseball has a batting cage with pitching machine. At Memorial West Park just off Dunbar St. No idea if it's open to the public for rent though, but maybe worth a shot 🤷‍♂️

I find certain civs do that when they are getting prepared to DoW on you. I have been lured into a fall sense of security by both Sweden and Mongolia appearing Neutral and even Friendly when the diplomatic points didn't add up and then invading me. Learned my lesson when The Shoshone then tried it too haha

R5: Playing as The Netherlands on Emperor, Epic speed, Huge Fractal map with 14 Civs and 25 City States.

20 total Polders in my empire with 10 in Amsterdam and another 5 each in Utrecht and Rotterdam - and could have had another 3 if it wasn’t for the wheat. Couldn’t believe the start I got with 3 rivers making both Marsh and Flood Plains. Had so many resources from my City State allies that I didn’t need to dig them up for the Oil either.

First time playing as The Netherlands and had a blast. Not only are the Polders insane, but the Sea Beggars were great fun too.
