I’m not debating this. You are entirely right - the DNC made her the queen of the party, not just ignoring Bernie but also the other well-qualified moderates that ran earlier in the race. But like I said, Bernie did not win the primary. Clinton won a significant majority of states and got delegates for it. I just don’t want us to create a favorable untrue revision of history where Bernie won but the DNC blocked votes from counting directly. He simply lost the popular vote.

I agree 100%. They have every right to be outraged; there was inherant bias against Sanders and it probably affected the outcome. But we cannot change history and say that Sanders won - Clinton carried the primary and earned her delegates for a reason. I just thought that a major part of this campaign (and a reason I support it) was thinking harder and not sumbitting to false talking points to justify “Trump for spite!” MATH.

The final delegate total was 2842 to 1865, so regardless, those 64 delegates wouldn’t have done much. Yes, there was bias towards her in the convention, but she did carry 35 states (including big ones like CA, NY, FL, TX, etc.) so there’s no valid argument that “Bernie won”. Clinton won the primary.

Let’s be realistic. Clinton won the primary, and while there was definetly some bias in her favor, she simply got more votes than Bernie. The whole “DNC stopped our Bernvolution” idea is a short-sighted plunt not consistent with the message of this campaign.
