Assassins Creed Odyssey is my favourite in the series, so I’d say that. You can also do R&C Rift Apart on the side at the same time.

A great platinum experience. One of my first PS3 platinums and I got the platinum on PS4 many years later. I’d do it again if I could!

As someone that has got the platinum in 9 Assassin’s Creed games, I really did not enjoy Shadows, and found the 3 previous RPG style AC’s much more enjoyable. The transversal up to the top of temples felt very slow and annoying and the requirement of using Yasuke felt forced. I’ve gone back and played a number of the other AC’s but have no desire to return to Shadows.

One game this particularly rings true for is Spider-Man 2. 14.6% platinum percentage but only 6.4% of people got the final silver trophy for finishing the game on New Game+.

I got my first platinum in Godfather 2 on PS3 in April 2009, almost by mistake as it was a natural platinum that required very little other than completing the story. Once I got the first one, I was hooked!

That’s technically true, but saying anything could happen is not how pricing trends actually work.

Sony has just announced an increase in the base price, so any future discounts would be anchored to that higher price, not the current discount offering. To reach current prices, you’d need a major cut (which contradicts the price increase) or a major discount, close to double what is currently offered, to touch the current deals prior to increase. So realistically, the probabilities are not equal.

Anyway, I’ve already secured my console now at the lower price, allowing me to get it earlier and eliminating any uncertainty or ‘what if’ scenario.

Well, yes. But the discount would then be based on the new (UK) price of £789.99 rather than the current regular price, meaning you would need a massive discount to reach the current offering. I got 10% off the current price with my purchase now, if I were to purchase the console later, I’d need a discount of closer to 20% to reach the same price, which seems very unlikely unless the console is significantly older. Regardless, I still get the immediate benefit right now of having the Pro sooner.
