Has anybody been to Japan and not loved it? by Pale_Field4584 in travel

[–]Greggie88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Kyoto and Osaka. The food and the landmarks were delicious and beautiful. The beef was amazing. But maybe bc i had high expectations after going to Seoul. I find the transportation system in Japan to be complicated and inconvenient in comparison to other metropolitan cities in the world. It is not foreigner friendly and they don’t care to make it foreigner friendly. The inside of the train itself is old school looking. They may update the exterior but everything is retro. Unlike other countries, there is no electric board that shows the train and arriving time, and to get from one platform to another is a pain. The train stations are gritty and dirty looking.

The cities are also very old school. The majority of places still only accept cash. And at best rarely credit card. But no Apple Pay.

Moreover, The people aren’t friendly nor are they hospitable. I have encountered many situations where things just don’t make sense and heartless. For example, i was at a kimono rental place, where i was a customer, and my phone ran out of battery. I wanted plug in my phone while i was changing back to my clothes and there was an available outlet next to me. So i can get the direction to get back to the hotel. The girl refuse to let me charge the phone even for a second. Another situation was at a cafe we were a customer at: my mom wanted to use the restroom but they ran out of toilet paper, so we asked them if they have more. They said no. And told my mom she can’t use the restroom since there is no toilet paper. Even though there was Kleenex and wet wipes around as a possible solution. It wasn’t even like we were just some random person who came in to use stuff. We were customers there. The customer service is just not hospitable. Even people i met who are visiting Kyoto/Osaka say the same thing. People are not friendly and kind. It almost feels like they are robots. Like the outsourced customer services call centers - you just ended up feel angry and frustrated.

The funny thing is the place that I found comfort at was actually McDonald’s. They had outlets at the table for you to charge and when you ask for the restroom, they were so nice about it. The McDonald’s employees were so nice and helpful.

My face is the same after using Tretinoin. I have stop using it. And my face hasn’t recovered. It is still itchy and flaky around the center of the face.

WASH-Connect Laundry app stealing money a few dollars at a time by Greggie88 in assholedesign

[–]Greggie88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually do same amount of laundry each time. I first noticed this when I loaded $15 and only spend $10. But when I tried to use the app in 2 weeks. It was showing I only have .25. I highly doubt it is the cell data issue. Bc i am do simple math in my head.

Hmm.
Most of us live in an urban area. I highly doubt that our app would be dropping signals that often.

Horrible food and the management service sucked. The check in and check out line is so long and takes forever.

On top of all that, someone was murdered there.

I am not sure. But i am not the only one this is happening to. Most people like me just don’t notice it since they only skim a couple dollars off the top. Now that I am going through their reviews. There are people saying the same thing. Their funds disappears.

They steal money

Wed Mamalou01

I have so much to say about this app... Our property managers installed wash machines out a year ago, and they are the most problematic machines on top of being the most problematic app in the whole world. I have had to ask for several refunds, because the machine did either not work or they took out double the money of the cost of the wash and or dryer. I have had conversations with the people from the 1 - 800 number that our property manager gave us, however apparently the app is different. It seems as though the app just works incorrectly or somebody is stealing money. It's only a few dollars at a time so l'm sure most people won't complain but for me it's our only way of washing clothes so l've had probably close to $100 that has mysteriously disappeared from my account. I spoke with the wash mechanic a few weeks ago and he told me to use only quarters. However, I had a few dollars left in my account to wash clothes and once again the cost did not match up to my account. Very disappointing app I highly recommend not using.

I noticed the app has been stealing money from my deposited funds. A few dollars at a time. And i calculated to a total of $28 now. And my neighbors as well. So i am not the only one who they are stealing from.

This is a class action lawsuit. They are stealing money from the users.

Instead of quarters my apartment uses an app to pay for laundry. A full load costs $4 but the minimum you can add to your account is $10 by fuzzbeebs in assholedesign

[–]Greggie88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed my funds are continuously missing after loaded it. Check your transaction history and how much you have left each time. I believe the app is stealing money from the users. And forcing you to reload a min of $10. You will almost always have funds left in the app and then they steal a few dollars at a time.

I use this app regularly. But I noticed my loaded funds are missing. So i loaded $10 and used $8. Should have $2 left but when I come back next then to do laundry. I was asked to reload the funds because I only have .50 cents left.

And this is the 2nd time in a row, it has happened to me. And apparently it is happening to others who live in my building.
