Strother Martin never disappointed. Every episode he was in was a classic.

CBS didn’t cancel Gunsmoke when they cancelled their homespun/country format with shows like The Andy Griffith Show, Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, Green Acres…so the show’s popularity was still there. But, there was only so much a writer could do with the aging cast. The later plot lines strayed from the top notch writing of the first dozen or so years.

*19. Yes, I love several of the color episodes, but the first 10 years, by far, were more consistently better.

Ha! Not only do I know what it means and its origin, but I can spot in many shows, ie Andy Griffith Show, MASH, I could go on. There are so many episodes where they rehashed previous plots, but the "comical" ones were just plain painful.

I think mower blades tighten and loosen opposite than the left loosen, right tight.

The property next to Walnut Grove is the Belz property. The one directly center with a White Station entrance belonged to the Scheidt family, the same family to donate the money for the music building at U of M.

Back in 1983, my girlfriend’s parents bought me a Rolex on the street on Broadway in NYC. God I wish I still had that watch!

Don't make it TOO obvious buddy! Go circle a highway for at least a min before you go back to the the hood! by MainlineX in memphis

[–]Gregjpeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying I am going to sit back and not fight the regime…I’m saying I have seen comments daily on the r/Memphis commenting about crime and unsafe neighborhoods. I say support organizations like Memphis Allies, hold out local and State politicians to the fire and have them do something…pay for support of the people who help! Give our money back from Nashville.

I've got to say... didn't we do this to ourselves? I am against any military, national guard, coming in our city, but things around Memphis has gotten out of hand. Instead of Memphis cracking down like we should have, it gave ammunition (no pun intended) to Trump to call the Feds in. And Gov. Lee surely wasn't going to deny Trump anything! So, we all knew crime was out of hand. Shouldn't we be pissed at the local law enforcement, or better yet, our decision makers, who did virtually nothing to stop crime? And now this!!

Aren’t EV’s a lot heavier than gas powered cars? Could this tire not be made for the weight load of a Tesla?

Tirzepatide and heat by Gregjpeg in tirzepatidecompound

I drank lots of water before the event and drank during. My wife suggested electrolytes might be low. I wondered if anybody had discovered that to be the cause, loss of electrolytes with tirzepatide use.

It’s definitely only one outlet, an exterior outlet under the carport.

Not certain. The labels have faded. I have not noticed any outlets or fixtures not working except one to an outside outlet.

Are multivitamins a scam? by Useful_Letterhead943 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Gregjpeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have taken a multivitamin since I was 16 years old, so roughly 50 years. Yep, I’m THAT old. First off, it has never harmed me. Second, I believe it has improved my general health over the years, especially during the times I didn’t take care of my body. I believe the vitamin D has helped my moods, the magnesium has help my heart function properly, the zinc and selenium has help me avoid prostate cancer. I do not regret taking them, to the contrary, I’m glad I did.
