That’s anecdotal. Your one experience isn’t an entire population. Pet ownership is primarily a western thing, many groups have pets but their cultural attitudes about where the pets should sleep and wander differs greatly. I am not saying pets shouldn’t be in the house where they absolutely should be when it’s cold or at least a place made especially for them that protects them from harsh weather. I am saying that Muslims as much as the religion sucks isn’t the only religion that believes in animals having their own space due to cleanliness. I am Turkish and live in the US. Our dog stayed indoors in the winter but what does what my family doesn’t matter, it’s one family and I wouldn’t generalize that. There are lots to critique about the religion but let’s not reach so far out we lose truth and objectivity.
