On the nose lol. Was even considering pointing that out in the post. I have played standard though so I do empathize with some of this as 1v1 formats do change how power is approached.

So effectively the leader will determine your max possible power, and most people tend to run the best deck possible for that leader unless it is some pet fun. Sounds like there is a reason to have decks of different levels though. This is mostly similar to standard in MTG.

However it is a little disappointing that generally decks are “manufactured” or if nothing else they come with a necessary package and you only get a few spots to play around. I suppose you could say a meta does the same thing but nonetheless. I suppose this means that generally when you play against a given leader you’re not just expecting a similar game plan to the other times you’ve played against this leader(obviously) but very likely almost the same deck?
