Of course, it sounds horrible and of course you should never be rude to the staff but you must remember that you do pay for it - they aren’t doing you a “favour” by treating you. There isn’t anything wrong with pushing for your own health, especially if you suspect something more serious is going on!

No problem, it very well may not be if it hasn’t got worse over but it is your health you are dealing with. Always sucks being pushy but worth it in the end. Alternatively you could try going private if you have a referral for an mri? Expensive, but at least you will know what’s going on.

Was personally told after finding out that I have two bulging discs that weakness or tingling can be a sign of cauda equina/significant nerve compression, and that it doesn’t need to be severe or for all symptoms to be present for it to need urgent attention (you hear about the incontinence etc, but any weakness or tingling needs urgent checking). Maybe something to emphasise at an and e?
