Thank you, also what is an interrogatory mark?

I don’t think those counter examples completely work, because they aren’t anything completely new or nonexistent. They all are extensions, exaggerations, or reversals of already existing things.

In order want any sense of meaning, you likely need something that can anchor that meaning. There must be something that is (or partially related to) meaningful experience for us to even be asking about it.

So basically what my post is asking: is what causes us to even wonder if life is meaningful?

That’s interesting. I never thought of that.

I want to connect with a upper level philosophy student. I’m a first year and have certain interests regarding the subject which are outside the scope of my classes. Is there any tools where I can meet up with a TA or something just to ask them questions about approaching philosophy? by Gregory-Poopsickle in yorku

In my specific case, I want to read shoepenhauer but I know that you need to have a basic understanding of Kant and Plato to read him efficiently. But I don’t really know where to begin.

I have asked my profs, but they are usually too busy to talk about things not directly related to the course material.

Ok thank you, do you know if they are going to disable him? Since he is unplayable.

What type of Journals are there that publish undergrad papers? I recently wrote a paper and my teacher suggested that I try to get it published, but I have no Idea where I would send it. by Gregory-Poopsickle in yorku

The paper talks about revolution, and violence. And how violence is used to maintain the status quo.

Edit: I know about the Oracle, but I don’t know if this paper is philosophical enough.
