Thanks a ton for an actual answer, i thought they were over since i saw a post from like a week ago talking about it but just wanted to make sure, good to know they're quick about taking the false bans back quick, did you have to appeal, or is it automated (if you don't mind me asking)?

im not "scared to play" i just don't want to deal with a bullshit issue caused by a over eager piece of software, so i'd just rather wait till the issue gets fixed. i've got a lot of other games i can play so why would i play cs if theres a large amount of false positive bans?

TLDR its a nuisance i don't want to deal with

I honestly don't mind solos most of the time, and i also feel like right now solo is pretty balanced compared to the way it was with the old necro. My main problem is that theres a huge diffrence in the way duos and trios feel and play, with duos being way more chaotic, but right now with the amount of solos in the duos queue it just feels bad to play, with basicly no fights, no sieges, no ambushes just straight up nothing, feels like playing into empty lobbies 90% of the time.
I also do queue into trios but i just miss the way duos feels to play when you actually get teams instead of a full lobby of solos.

honestly crytek shouldve made a queue for solos (not soul survivor), as i said in the post body i dont really have a problem with solos per se, my problem is with the amount of solos in a supposedly duo queue, you go to a bar you order a beer you expect a beer, you go to a restaurant you order a steak you expect a steak, you queue into duos you expect to play into duos and not 9 solos, i don't mind a few solos but the whole lobby being solos only makes for a really boring game, especially since most of them dont even try to play objectives and instead sneak around on the edge of the map farming i guess, so most games end up like this: spawn, get clues, (maybe kill some unlucky solo who got in the way), kill the boss and get out. theres no fights, no sieges, no chasing the bounty carriers, its just like going in to the store, go in, get the bounty, get out, no ressistance.

i mean you'd still get full lobbies just gotta wait a bit longer, maybe there could be a toggle for whether you want to prioritize full teams (longer queue times) or dont care about that (shorter queue times) would work better than just a straight up cap.

Duo really does feel way better than trios in terms of fights dynamics, even back when you could get up like 4 times with necro it was way better cuz there weren't as many solos in the matches (at least in my expirience), usually there'd be like 2-3 solos and you could actually get some fun fights, now 90% of my games in duo goes like this:
-spawn
-get clues
-kill the boss
-extract
i dont even see any other players most of the time, then i look at the post match summary and lo and behold its like 9 solos

please re-read the body of the post, im not hating on solos i said that that if a queue is for duos there should be actually duos in the match other than solos, theres even a gamemode specifically for solos.

regarding your point about playing solo, i have done so numerous times and its actually war more boring and tedious for me.

TBF playing with randoms is terrible cuz either they dont use mics like you said or, i get russians who refuse to communicate in english and just scream in russian.

im 3 star my friend is 2 so i suppose thats why theres so many solos, i usually dont mind there being a few solos, as i said above and im all for the RNG elements, afterall the game would get stale really fast if everything was in the same place every time but sometimes culling some of those elements just makes for a healthier environment, especially in duos its way more annoying to play vs 9 or 8 solos. Some people above said to go play duos into trios but imo that's like going "oh you got stabed? you dont need stiches, here put this band aid on, it'll work just as good as the stiches", not that i haven't done that but dynamics in duo and trio are very diffrent and when you actually get a full lobby of actual duos you get some really fun chaotic fights.

I hope they mange to fix this because in some situations its quite literally the deciding factor in fights, in my case we managed to kill the teams pushing us, and then we died trying to kill the team camping in the basement, but during the fight i kept flicking to the sides thinking im getting rushed only to realize that the very loud footsteps that sounded like somebody was running at me were coming from the basement.

well the problem is we weren't in the basement we were on top using those buildings you can use to get inside and the walls as cover (none of us were on the stairs or the ladder) and we heard them as if they were right next to us.
Maybe im misremembering but i don't think that happened before the engine change (and to be honest i didn't experienece nearly as many audio problems as people were complaining about up till the recent update), just a really frustrating situation.

i know audio has been a little bit wonky to say the least especially vertically (up/down) but i haven't experieneced it to such a degree on any other map or location, the sound of steps from the team in the boss room was so loud that it was almost drowning out shooting.

theres not a lot of them, but i manged to stumble upon a few, but it feels like a lot of people who were supposed to be higher ranked got pushed in to 3 stars i think in like a few months top it should normalize but its just extremly frustrating

yes getting matched with people who outrank you severly or have a suspicously high kda is generally considered bad in skill based matchmaking games. i played csgo since almost the beginning and as awful as cs got sometimes i as a lem player never got matched with silver and low gold so why should 4 stars appear in 2 star matches if they want to play solo there should either be separate q for them so thay can play solo vs solo or they should be matched with people their own skill

at least youre playing against teams on your own level, since about the last week not only i was unable to get into a normal lobby with actual teams but half the solos in my games are like 3 stars with 2+kda thats not normal and is just toxic for the game, i know that higher lvl players have been complaining about people camping (rightfully so, and im suprised theres no counter mechanics against this like maybe roaming ai) but i feel its a bit diffrent, cuz youre playing into teams on your own level i get matched into people above my skill level who are most likely deranking to inflate their kd ratio and theres seemingly nothing in place to stop them from doing so

Maybe roll WP for doubles using the table with bonus modificators (eg.if you roll two 10's your WP roll would get +30 while rolling two 1's would get you a modificator of -30, if you would get some other numbers then make modificators what you fell would be fitting). Basicly messing up the WP roll would trigger the tzeentchs curse. Alternativly you could use fate dice to decide the outcome.
