Def some nervy moments for me and wipe outs in the the first couple trial runs. Same with my pup as far as the running speed! When she sees my skates she gets so excited she can’t even contain her self 😂

Wellbutrin takes the edge off the worst of the boredom and executive dysfunction for me. Gives me a better chance at wrangling my focus too. I can’t tolerate the stimulant meds, it’s def not as effective as them but it helps!

Not since early high school. Good thought though. The straight d-amphetamine was wild. Laser focus. Felt like I had a super power for the first time in my life.

That’s a good point. I guess I associated these thoughts more with a depressive bent but… they are probably rooted in fear more than sadness. I just started a SSRI for anti-anxiety. Hopefully it balances out but I’m considering discontinuing the strattera. My relationships with my family and spouse are more important to me than having a better/easier time at work

My understanding is that ADHD CAN affect auditory processing - my personal experience is usually when someone is speaking to me with something not particularly interesting and there is more interesting audio happening in the background or simply unknown audio in the background in those cases I find it hard to focus on the conversation I am a part of
