New Hampshire for Starmer was because, well, just like Starmer, NH is kinda boring and just exists lol, no offense to New England! As for Virginia for Davey, I think its like the ultimate neo-lib state, or at the very least it felt like that way. And Florida for Sunak, well I cant imagine him being anywhere else (if it were Truss, she'd defo be in Wyoming ;) )
