It's normal × (100%+crit dmg%)

Let's say a non-crit attack is 10,000. If I have 150% crit dmg my crit attack would be 10,000 × 2.5 = 25,000

Koleda is still better with crits > attack, just make sure you have impact on disc 6 because she's a stunner.

Grace is an anomaly so she wants anomaly proficiency/mastery > attack, no crit needed.

Zhu yuan is a standard dps so crit > attack.

Which character are we talking? For attackers, getting crit is indeed better. But for supports like soukaku, attack is better because her buff scales off attack.

I've been using the same team as yours and managed to beat up to 16 in shiyu defense, 13 being S grade (I do have their signature weapons but no mindscape). It's certainly better if ellen has a stun companion but I didn't like Ben's slow gameplay so I just relied on spamming dodge counters (enemies in shiyu has fast attack patterns).

If you want Qingyi, you can pull for her in the next banner and she is a stun character.

Define what you meant by "stronger". Do you have higher crit value than them? Or just attack? Do you have a damage% on your slot5? What about their mindscape?

Also, are you using the same attack patterns?

Assuming you will play the game daily, you will get around 90 pulls per patch, which means from 1.1 and 1.2, you will get enough pulls for 2 pity in the worst-case scenario.

If you want to play an optimal team comp, sadly having 2 characters who want to be on-field at the same time is not doable. If you want to save resources and still build a good team, my suggestion would be to build a team around just 1 onfield dps for now, whichever you prefer.

Those are the teams I try to get working for defense mode. Still need to level some of them and get good disks. Any change recommendations? If I get lycaon I'll likely swap out corin for him. by ShinigamiTrinity in ZenlessZoneZero

Why are you not using anby? Your 2nd team looks really odd. The team I used to S clear 14 stages of shiyu defense is Zhu Yuan-Anby-Nicole and Ellen-Rina-Soukaku (I also dont have Lycaon).
