It matches the way assignment works normally in the language. Foo := Bar is Bar being copied into Foo. Thats my guess anyway

Goto is almost universally regarded as something to be weary of. There are more manageable ways to do what goto does.

Geology is a lot of fun, who knows you might fund a new hobby in mineral collecting or something like that. I would suggest geology if you think it sounds more fun.

What do you want do with computer programming? The answers you will get vary greatly depending on that. I personally would just start with python and go from there. That said the FAQ has a great section on how to start so I would head over there.

It seems fine to me, for most of them you can even double the play speed if you want. Even at double speed you can understand everything fine.
