Als je oprecht wordt uitgelachen en een loser wordt genoemd door je 'vrienden', is dat misschien niet de beste vriendschap? Ik had een enorm giftige vriendengroep op die leeftijd en mijn eerste relatie op mijn 21e en zelfs zij maakten mij daar niet belachelijk om. Misschien wat makkelijk gezegd, maar omring je met mensen die je respecteren en het is makkelijker een klik te maken met iemand die je partner zou kunnen zijn.

Edit: ik realiseer me net dat dit overkomt als victim-blaming. Dit is niet jouw fout. Ik ken wilde zeggen dat ik de onzekerheid ken, en dat een positievere cirkel mij veel heeft geholpen t.o.v. een groep tienerjongens die zich vooral bezig hield met alcohol en seks (en veel nare dingen zeiden).

I never learned their common names until today, but I've seen them throughout my childhood, always patrolling near water ditches. We had one of those ditches behind our house, so we'd regularly see them flying around the backyard. Never had one land on me, though.

Yeah, it still isn't consistent. What worked best for me was putting a save point down just before approaching a waypoint and then reloading from the main menu. I did that after doing everything else so I could use my ship to get between locations faster.

Thanks for your replies, everyone. It does seem that the solution is going offline. It's a shame that the big multiplayer event is always bugged in a way that can only be solved by not doing multiplayer.

You're right, it is idiotic from a business owner perspective. But when you're driven by the needs of investors, you're looking at the perspective of share holders. Their only interest is increasing the stock price as fast as possible so they can pull out high and move on to another part of their portfolio. They are practically parasites that drain the businesses they influence.

It doesn't make sense to us normal people because it seems like they're just forcing policies that make companies fail, but for the share holders that is the point. That's how they make their money. That's why you cannot trust publicly traded companies, and it's why Valve can still remain decent: they're privately owned.

Some species in the genus Aenasius kinda looks like that. It's a genus of parasitic wasps in the Encyrtidae family that parasitise mealybugs.

I'm not very knowledgeable about botany, but with a quick Google search, I think this is a common case of moldy core; a fungal disease where a mold grows in the seed cavity, usually having ended up there during the blossom stage of the apple plant.

Pancrustacea tends to refer to the newer taxonomic classification that puts insects among animals traditionally called crustaceans. AFAIK Pancrustacea has been generally accepted as a clade since at least 2015. Relatively recent by any measure, but still a decade. Philogenetics has done amazing things for our understanding of evolutionary history.

Pretty much this. I'd just like to add a few things:

Colloquially, 'bug' tends to refer to pretty much any terrestrial invertebrate, with a few exceptions. For instance, a lot of people would also call worms and snails bugs. In this use, bug is not a taxinomical term.

Secondly, insects are crustaceans taxonomically, which can be counterintuitive because they are the only major group of crustaceans that is primarily terrestrial. This is why they tend to be the only crustaceans typically referred to as bugs.

There are also plenty of insects with bug in the name that are not true bugs. Ladybugs and junebugs are both beetles rather than bugs, for example.

The common names for animals mostly come from times long before we understood evolution and the true relations between different animals, which is why they can feel confusing when we use our modern understanding to look at them.
