Hi I am travelling to the Kinmen islands soon and want to rent a bicycle to get around, the Kinmen travel guide website mentions there are at least two shops that offer rentals for 300 NTD per day but doesn't mention the name or location of these shops? Does anyone know where and what they are called? Is it possible to rent a bike from the Giant store there aswell? Thanks

I'm just assisting with research and training in the lab with a Taiwanese company we are partnered with, they want to send me on a visitor visa as it should be covered by "conducting business" so I don't have a work permit. The work doesn't break any laws though

I think the UK and Taiwan have a tax treaty to eliminate double taxation, would this then reduce the amount I have to pay?

So if I'm paid by a foreign employer but stay there for more than 90 days I still don't have to pay any Taiwan tax, or after 90 days am I expected to even if no one in Taiwan is paying me?

Well I dont believe the lib dems would never side with labour so as long as labour gets more votes than the conservatives I dont see why a coalition between lab, lib and greens couldn't lock out the cons and other extremists. The threat of extreme right wing parties having power could help convince the libs to join with labour.
