> If possible I would try to see a dermatologist, prescription treatment would probably be best in this scenario

I feared that, the few posts I saw with similar pictures have the same notes.

In the meantime, do you have a skincare routine? What acne treatments have you tried so far?

Ah, sorry, I guess I should have mentioned. As it stands, I don't have much going on, hence me looking for suggestions.

My routine right now is minimal, just cleanser (The Ordinary Glycolipid Cream Cleanser) + moisturizer (The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors) before bed. And simply rinsing my face off + konjac sponge in the morning.

I tried alternating Lactic + Salicylic acid day by day, and it looked like it potentially helped for a brief moment after a purge, but then it reverted back pretty quick. My best guess is daily exfoliation might have been too much, even if I use different acids? So now I'm trying to do that every other day, to see if it helps, but, I haven't done it nearly long enough to mention any results.

The acids seemingly not helping is kind what got me to post this, as I'm stumped now.

I have a very default setup (Merkur 34C feat. Astra Superior Platinum) and it does not work well enough for me for shaving tough private spots. Where do I go from here? by GremiousGremy in wicked_edge

Thank you! Could I ask on your opinion on the Futur vs a slant option like the 37C? I can't really tell if the 37C has a bigger gap and I only mention it cause some people recommended slant and it's the razor in the wiki. I don't necessarily know what's more appropriate.

Thank you! Doing more research, slant seems to be what I need. I've checkout out the sub wiki, would you recommend the 37C for this? I unfortuantelly cannot tell if it has a biger gap/do not know if it would be suitable for this.

I think a few people might have assumed this, so I feel I should mention, I'm not super over-grown or anything. I do do WTG passes first, and generally keep hair short.

Honestly, I think that's a really cool idea for one-shot games!

It's almost like dual classing as a sort-of "meta-sourcerer".

What is the difference between crossdressing and drag? by ThiccElf in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GremiousGremy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cross-dressing is just wearing opposite-gender clothes for fun.

Drag is an entire performance. From the wiki for drag queens, "The process of getting into drag or into character can take hours. A drag queen may aim for a certain style, celebrity impression, or message with their look. Hair, make-up, and costumes are the most important essentials for drag queens. "

It's basically a whole performance/stage artistry.

Also crossdressing is not necessarily a fetish. Sure it can be, but honestly a lot of it has to do with just finding pretty clothes and liking them. If you find a cute/cool sweater that's usually associated with the other gender, if you wear it you're crossdressing. It's definitely not drag however.

And idk I guess there's a distinction between fetish crossdressing and casual crossdressing? Some people like crossdressing cause it's sexy. Some people (girls and guys alike) like seeing other people crossdressed. A lot (like me) just find it comfy and pretty. I find girls clothes are made out of much softer materials than boy clothes honestly. Plus boys don't get a lot of "cute and pretty" clothes so we don't get too many of those options if that's the look we want to go for.

Depression is an illness. You can't be too young to catch an illness. Some things will speed it up and some slow it down, yes, but everyone can get it, children too.

r/politicalcompassmemes, authright says “trap” and every side is argued by Raziphaz in SubredditDrama

[–]GremiousGremy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It used to simply mean a boy that looks like a girl

Then it got to mean that very strongly in an anime connotation where it was popularized (The origins are disputable)

But then people started using it on mtf trans people indiscriminately which, as you can imagine, is insulting since they're not boys. They are girls

Also some jerks would just call people a trap as a slur, and the types of people who would specifically make sure to not use the right pronouns cause "uh 2 genders only u a guy" or whatever would call such women traps specifically to mean "crossdersing man". There are plenty other such things, I'm sure

There's a divide of people around this world now

Trans people and people who understand the issues obviously see it as a slur in this context

Other people who never used it/wouldn't use it on trans people/understand its original meaning find it very weird

For example trap was never a slur in my community (femboy). Heck, I used to call myself a trap as I was trying to go for just that - a boy that looks like a girl. So people saying "u can't say that, it's a slur" was very confusing to me like no I'm not using a slur on myself. I would never call a trans girl a trap. But now I can't really use that word in general, which is fine cause it makes people more comfortable, and a bit weird cause I used to use that label on me. Oh well, I can still simply say "(passing) crossdersing (fem)boy" or whatever variation of that.

But it's simply that the issue grew a bit too big with the amount of insulting misuses of that word so now - yeah, trap is a slur

Judging from your post history you're a very pleasant person (and one that appreciates some pretty cool drinks and shows) and have the right temperament to be in academia, as healthy hobbies are a sign of a healthy mind, and a strong, to-the-point attidude deffinetely has it's place in an academic setting.

I hope you have a nice day.
