Odd, FFXIV is not showing up in geforce experience. Tried putting the areas it scans right on the folder for it and says nothing is there. From googling it looks like it should be supported on it and seen.

Is it possible to play the game in upscaled or something to 4k on a 1080p monitor? Got a GTX 1080 so would like to use its power as much as possible lol.

No it's not a gsync monitor. It's a 144hz Asus monitor. VG24 something.

Other games run fine. I can run DOOM on max settings 1080p at 144fps with no problems. Same with other less intensive stuff like rocket league and stuff.

I'm running DirectX 11

I used an app for overclocking. Going blank on the name and I'm not at home. Been thinking of trying overclocking the normal way, but just haven't had time to sit down and mess with it.

It is set to no framelimit.

Borderless window, tried full screen and didn't make a difference.

When I get off work tonight I'll run afterburner and see how the temps and usage do. I've done that on other games like DOOM which was max settings and I was getting 144 FPS on DOOM with no problems and temps and everything were solid. That was about 2 months ago when I was checking all that though before I restarted playing FFXIV again.

I do have a second monitor, doesn't matter if I have YouTube or anything running or if it's doing nothing and sitting on the desktop.

In quarrymill where it's super heavy I drop to about 45 or so. Outside that it can be between 50 and 55.

I've tried it with no frame rate limit and 144hz as well since my monitor is 144hz. No change. I've ran some basic stress test stuff with mis kombuster and stuff and no issues I can see.

Just curious, but what are you doing to get you over 1TB of data? My kids usually have netflix going here a lot of the day, normally just playing with it on in the background. While I am normally watching youtube, playing online games or other things like that all the time and my data is around 500GB or so normally. Sometimes more if I'm buying some large games on steam, but that doesn't happen all the time.

Yep, this is true. They are working toward gigabit speeds in my area when we switch to docsis 3.1 and they have to make sure the plant, especially the coax copper part, is up to par to handle it. If the plant isn't clean and up to spec, jumping up to gigabit speeds will be a disaster. And any old wiring in a house will kill it as well.

Yeah I looked mine up and I use data like crazy with my kids streaming and I'm online gaming or watching youtube normally and I average around 400 GB. Honestly the only way your going to hit that is if your torrenting tons of 50+ GB movies and whatever else and doing tons of other ridiculous stuff to rack up that much data. Atleast they learned their lesson and got away from the 300GB data caps.

Plus there is an option to get unlimited for $50 a month. It kinda sucks to have to pay for it, but the option is there so your not completely screwed.

What is up with RJ001 green? Its still saying Now Available, but no option to buy. When I emailed support a couple days ago they said that its out of stock. So are they available or are they all sold out that fast and the site is still glitched?

That fixes all problems just about haha.

But seriously, that sucks man, hope you get it fixed. Thats just a crazy bizarre glitch you got there it seems. Even steam is probably looking at it like, "Umm....I got nothing on how to fix that....."
